They are totally against religion(especially Christianity) so I think they should talk to all the employers out there and demand not to participate in the celebration of our Savior's birth. Also they shouldn't get holiday pay since to them it's not anything to celebrate. I bet their bosses might go for the extra help.

I'm all about EVERYONE celebrating our Savior's birth! But if you want to try to repeal the holiday, then don't observe it, don't be a hypocrite

I feel such rudeness and sarcasm coming from all the non-believers, it's ok I'm not offended but you should try going to church and try finding something better to do besides chastizing a Christian Yahoo answers member!
Jesus still loves you!

Isn't it funny? They battle Christians constantly, but they'll observe the "holidays." Aaaarrrggghhhh! We forgive them, though!

Christmas is not "the celebration of our Savior's birth".
Do you think that lying is clever? Someday you're going to wish you hadn't trashed your reputation.

"But if you want to try to repeal the holiday, then don't observe it, don't be a hypocrite"
Ah, yes, let's attack all of those ACLU people who want to repeal Christmas.
LOL - you people are hilarious. If Fox News told you that moon was an Islamic military post you'd all stand on your front lawns trying to shoot it down.
Don't be so gullible - the ACLU is not in a "War against Christmas" or against Christians or anything like that. Don't believe everything you see on TV.

I never knew the ACLU hated Christianity. It's even more surprising considering that some of their lawyers are Christian. They've also done a great deal of work to ensure that Christians' freedom of expression is not limited by the government. (sources below)

A little known fact is that many members of the ACLU are in fact Pagans, so celebrating the winter solstice is OK.

Consiglieri, LOL. I really did LOL.
As long as its a FEDERAL holiday, I will continue to observe it, thank you very much. More likely, we would demand that our secular government repeal the designation that "respects the establishment of a religion". Careful what you wish for.

Christmas is derived from the ancient worship of the winter solstice, so you're argument makes no sense.
And ACLU is NOT as opposed to religion as they should be. Look at their support for the use of public funds to build footwash basins for muslims.

Please quote where the ACLU has ever said that it's "totally against religion".
It's always fashionable to bash the ACLU. Until you actually need their help, that is.
