I personally think there is such thing as a God with omnipotent powers, but I'm not so sure about heaven and hell and if it is worth any value to be in any of them because I think I would get tired of them both eventually.

I asked a question about a "perfect child".. and someone is going to say that I can't be a Christian because I listen to Beyonce... Beyonce is even Christian! My dad knew Bey ever since she was 10! He knew because of the CHURCH THEY BOTH WENT TO!! So I can't be Christian if I listen to Beyonce? I don't remember the bible saying anything about Beyonce...

Yes I believe this happened in the bible but is it really happening to "Special Christians" who are filled with the holy spirit? Have you heard the clucks and stutters that come out of their mouths? Why does this happen to only a select group of Christians? Why not Catholics, Lutherans. Are we LESS then Christian because we do not cluck?

Does it say anywhere in the bible about why the Devil can't get into heaven or can he? Also, does it give names of angels? I'm writing a book and need info about the bible. Angels and the devil info mostly.

Okay, an afterlife sounds really weird, because you cant exactly "create" an afterlife, and my theory is so simple. If there was an afterlife, don't you think the world would consist of other paranormal things? It'll be hard to explain.

I don't really believe in ghosts but i still think they could be out there. it's just that how come we see ghosts some times and other times we dont? (i get spooked writing about ghosts).

But one other thing hit me - something in the unierse weird has to have happened - how were the first things made? how did they come about? it is just weird to me that we know so little of what has happened, other than preserved things and religious books.

Could we somehow prove it? kill someone with ( **** i forget what it is when they say CLEAR, than zap, theyre back.) then bring them back to life with it, do it on a few subjects and ask them what the experience was like?

I want your opinions on all of what i just said it is just so weird.

For the purpose of this question, I am an atheist:

I do not believe in a God,
I dont believe in Jesus or anything like that.
I believe that after we live, we die and that is all.

I can murder, and I can steal, and do all sorts of terrible things. How do you prove that what I am doing is wrong? Because the law says so? Because you dont like it? Why must I be moral, and why must I conform to the rules of society? How is that different from sheep leading sheep?

Just a thought, not meaning to offend. I would appreciate a serious answer.

My mom had a sudden attack of involuntary motor movements. It looks like it could be Ataxia or symptoms like Huntington's Disease. We won't know until tomorrow but the sedative keeps her from too much movement. Poor mommy. My sister helped me today and will be coming over next week so I can do lunch with friends and go Christmas shopping. Thanks for your prayers.

I say women cuz I've yet to see guys do this. I work in a gym and work out 3-4 days a week and never seen a man do this. I've seen some ladies just flap their lips for the entire duration of their workout. I figure if they can speak then they're just not working hard enough.

Some of my family members don't get a long and can't standing being under one roof during Xmas time. Reason...my mother drives everyone nuts! So like every year, we take turns speading Xmas at eachother others houses, last year was at mine, this year its my cousin's turn. And a couple of months ago my mother had a falling out with her sister (my aunt) and mother of my cousin. So basically a couple months before their falling out the decision was to spend Xmas at her house. We all agreed. Now that my mom is fighting with my aunt, my mother expects me to drop her invitation the last minute to spend with her. She is giving me this guilt trip like..."I don't get to spend Xmas with my grandchildren"? She is so closed minded and only cares about her, I don't agree with her in the argument she had with my aunt, but I don't say anythng as it has nothing to do with me. What would you do? How do you split your time? This gets me so angry...I cant be at 2 places the same freaken time!
