1 Peter 4:14 says If you are reproached for the Name of CHRIST, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On THEIR part He is Blaspemed, but on your part He is GLORIFIED!!!

Support your answer.

So Christians are taught to put others before oneself and God before oneself. Atheists are taught to analyze oneself and explore the world and sift it thru one's personal value system.

Which one's better?

Does it mean that Christians are generally unintelligent for not understanding the world around them due to them placing their religious identity before personal identity?

Does it mean generally, atheists are much more awesome?

I'm an atheist, but I don't see why that should stop me from worshiping something I have the utmost awe and reverence for, and something I believe we could not live without. I mean... just look at this picture! Amazing!

I think that killing is killing, no matter what, I am not pro choice don't get me wrong, I think abortion should be limited to people who need it, like people who will die in childbirth or rape victims. What I don't understand is why someone can stand so firmly against abortion AND the death penalty. Death is death no matter who dies right?

If you can lose it, then that means you can earn it. If you can really earn your salvation then you share the Glory with God. Do you really consider yourself equeal to God?

He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Do you see? We are His workmanship. God is the one who changed us and who is doing the good works through us. We are nothing without God.

Can a person who is born-again really be unborn? Can you really change a work of God?

Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, Ezekiel 11:19

Do you really think you can reverse this work that God did?

hi.. i was given an after school detention last week for 2 hours where i had to write lines. ' I must follow the school code of conduct at all times' Im from the UK and our detentions at school are from 3.30 til 5.30.

not only are writing pages of lines boring, but your hand and fingers are sore from holding the pen! i used a biro pen, which made my fingers numb, i dunno if a different pen will help?

I have another 2 hr detention on thursday, so any ideas?

They are dating someone that's another race. Who cares who you are dating? Just because you are dating another race it doesn't mean you aren't racist either. Racist believe one race is inferior to another. They don't necessarily have to be mean to the race. Some men think women are inferior but do they still marry women? YES. So you can be a racist and date or marry another race. That excuse is getting annoying.

I know a lot of innocent people has recieved it. Cause dna testing etc have proved their innocence. I believe life in prison maybe better. Who really can decide if a person should die or not??? I also want to know the religious and non-believers perspective on this. Fyi I believe in God but I'm not in a religious sect.

Ive only been working at my job for a few months and we are having our Christmas party soon. I dont know if I want to go and when I told my boss, she seemed upset. My coworkers are kinda unfriendly to me.Like sometimes I think they avoid me. I understand that im the new one, but come on, its been 4 months! I also only work there part time, not full time.And I have anxiety in social situations where I dont know anyone. There will be other workers from other departments, but I dont know them. And its not like your normal office party too. At my other job, we have it at a bar and so its more relaxed and stuff. Here, its happening at a coffee shop. I dont know, i just feel weird going, but I dont want to be looked down at.
What should I do?

I will be meeting my gf's parents for the first time this weekend and wish to make a good impression. Never done this with a prior gf, though, so not experienced at all. Is there a "generic" gift for this occasion. Likely I will not give that, but it would help me guage the level of gift that is appropriate.
