Not a thing! The Bible is 100% accurate.
As for the "Big Bang" theory and the theory of Evolution, they are just that, theories (I "majored" in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Math in secondary school, then I was a double-major in college: Physics and Math, now I'm back doing Computer Science). Big Bang and Evolution should be found in the "Fiction" section of the library because they hold as much water as a sieve.
As for the Bible, news stories abound about parts of the Bible which have been demonstrated to be true and other parts which have been show to be completely plausible. Archaeologists keep uncovering more and more evidence supporting various historical accounts in the Bible. There have been several newspaper-documented instances within the last 200 years of a fisherman falling overboard (or off a pier) and being swallowed by a whale, and rescued after 2 days (the whale was caught and killed in these accounts). If I remember correctly, there was even one instance where a dog fell overboard and was found alive in a whale roughly 2 days later. This demonstrates the plausibility of the Jonah odyssey in the Bible.
As for the various translations of the Bible (King James, NIV, etc.), they all say the same thing. Some say it in the vernacular of Shakespeare, some say it in modern American English, etc. If you examine the meaning, connotation, and context of what is said in each translation, they all say exactly the same thing. Really, to gain a complete understanding of the Bible, it is necessary to study what the words and phrases meant 2,000 - 6,000 years ago, in Biblical times. Cultures have changed so much that many things have changed in significance and what the true meaning is has been obscured somewhat (not completely). Culture continues to change and this contributes to new translations of the Bible being written. People are trying to make the unchanging message of the Bible relevant and understandable to modern people.
As to the misogyny, killing, etc. in the Bible... Most of this is in the Old Testament, and much of it was NOT God's will for us. Even the parts where God specifically tells us that death is the punishment for homosexuals, child abusers, etc., Jesus clarified in the New Testament. Sins are still sins, but we are not to kill each other. Remember when the woman caught in adultery was brought before Jesus? Jesus told them that whichever of them was without sin, let him (or her) throw the first rock. We can advise our neighbors (in the Biblical sense of the word "neighbor") of mistakes or sins they are doing, but vengeance is God's. Even if you go back to Genesis, God intended for men and women to be equal. He created Eve as a "help meet" for Adam. The word "meet" is used in a similar context to "track meet" where athletes compete on a level field. Eve was meant to be an equal for Adam. Like I said, you have to have an understanding of the context and connotation too.
Don't even get me started on Genesis chapter 16 and 9-11-2001...
The Bible is easier to digest than a cheeseburger (especially considering all the chemicals they put in the meat).
And NO, I do not disagree with anything in the Bible. The Bible is God's word.

God bless y'all.

I have been a catholic for over 50 years now, and yes I do disagree with most of what is said in the bible, anyone with any common sense at all could not take the bible literally in my opinion, I have watched all of the Evangelists and preachers over the years, and have concluded that they are nothing more than scamming lying hypocrites living off the backs of the poor and hopeless, God have mercy on their greedy evil souls.

Let's see...
Adam and Eve...I don't believe it like I used to: It sounds like a myth now, cuz it conflicts LOTS, with the Evolution theory.
Loving my enemies (although admirable, I can barely do this-human nature is not wired AS SUCH)
Holy Spirit-If it existed, then, I'd see more miracles happen. As far as I know, the only "Spirit power" comes from our own SPIRITS. ;)
The idea that we live ONCE. Conflicts with the idea of reincarnation. Some reincarnate and others stay in the cosmos or whereever..., IMHO
I do agree with one of the OT scriptures, in Proverbs, when it says "
AN EYE FOR AN EYE AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH!!!"
In short:
Get even! >:) hahaha....

Common sense - no.
But seriously, the list would be so long!
A loving god that condemns someone to hell for not believing n him * destroying the world because he doesn't like how it's going * condemning his son to one of the most painful deaths ever - no, wait, that was himself so does that count? * ordering followers to kill anyone of another religion * ordering the tribes to destroy entire kingdoms because he wants them to steal the land * killing hundreds of his own followers because a handful rushed forward to keep the Ark of the Covenant from falling (nice save there) * rehashing pagan common sense and teachings as his own * .....................

No.
This is the only way to really get anything from the Bible...not to stand in judgment of it, but to let it judge you. Those that criticize and try to pick it apart never get the intended meanings. To such, it will never make sense.

Sure.
But not because of common sense. I can't find anything in there that defies common sense (when properly understood).
Ha ha - look at the girl who said "all of it." Yeah, she doesn't have any presuppositions, does she?
