God doesn't create this stuff. He gets you through it.

I am not a bio-engineer, but I suspect that it is quite possible that the virus could have been engineered, tho finding direct evidence of that is highly unlikely. It is of great fascination to me that it contains such a diverse set of "fingerprints", from widely dispersed locations. It is an unlikely but not impossible combination. Some very good earlier responses to this post describe the mechanism for mutation quite nicely. I would *also* make an interesting counter-argument to those who think the intent of releasing a virus like this could be malign... It could also explain why it is overall far less lethal than one might assume would be true for a weaponized disease. This virus contains segments of a flu lineage (Avian) which has in someplaces had a 60% mortality rate. What if someone might have engineered and released this as a *challenge* virus, in an effort to build immunity in populations against a threat that is over 100 times more lethal?

Once you become a Christian you realize that what happens is inconsequential. The only thing that can define a persons life is the choices they make.

Of course until you are saved you live in the flesh and the only thing that matters is what happens. You are happy when good things happen and upset when bad things happen because God must hate you and everyone else to let something bad happen.

To put it in perspective with eternity:
ten minutes out of a hundred and twenty years is about the same as a hundred and twenty years is to a trillion years.
The beginning of eternity is about a trillion times longer than a trillion years.

God did not make those. Mankind in their disobedience to God invented those by wanting to keep doctors rich, didn't you know? For example, drinking coffee is bad for you but people do it right? I drink hot chocolate and it is much better for you and at least you can sleep at night and don't get crazy skin diseases or cancers.

sickness is of the devil
healing comes from God
Ex 15: 26And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

For the wages of sin is death. If you really wanted to know this you wouldn't have to look far in the Bible. When the first sin was committed (disobeying God) everyone was promised death, and everything bad that happens is because of sin. From the littlest bad thing to the largest bad thing.

They will blame it on their anti-god (Satan/Sin). Of course their God would not cause this.... even though he is omnipotent and made EVERYTHING. Hypocrisy at its best.

Why not? Surely you're not suggesting that all of existence is just about _us_.
