To loose our salvation, we would have to be "unregenterated, unjustified, unglorified, and unsealed". God does not lie!!
Once a person is saved are they always saved? When people come to know Christ as their Savior, they are brought into a relationship with God that guarantees their salvation as eternally secure. Numerous passages of Scripture declare this fact. Romans 8:30 declares, "And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified." This verse tells us that from the moment God chooses us, it is as if we are glorified in His presence in heaven. There is nothing that can prevent a believer from one day being glorified because God has already purposed it in heaven. Once a person is justified, his salvation is guaranteed - he is as secure as if he is already glorified in heaven.

Jesus Christ died for our sins, earning us only the POSSIBILITY of salvation. His death reopened the gates of heaven that previously were closed due to the sin of Adam and Eve. First of all, we have to be Catholic and follow Jesus' Church with all the Sacraments He bestowed on it (including Baptisim in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost (not Holy Spirit) for us to be better able to resist temptation. That, too, is why He died. Remember that the large curtain in the temple was torn in half the minute He died. That was the end of the Old Covenant. The New Covenant is the Catholic Church that went into effect that minute. We can 'un-earn' salvation as you call it, by committing even one mortal sin. Then not confessing that mortal sin to a catholic priest. We also can 'un-earn' salvation by not being baptized into the Catholic Church. We can also 'un-earn' salvation (lose salvation) by not keeping His Commandments. I didn't make these rules up. God did. We all choose for ourselves how we will die and whether in a state of grace (no mortal sins) or not. We have been given a free will. It's every man for himself. Hope this answer is what you are seeking.

Salvation is a two way street.
Like marriage.
As the bride of Christ, the church (all believers) are welcome into heaven; but NOT if they change their mind, like the "run away bride"!!!
He is the same yesterday and today, but we mortals are changeable some times, and unfaithful. He will not put up with that. Like an earthly husband rejects an unfaithful wife, He rejects unfaithful Christians, for the general good of the faithful in heaven.
God will NOT drag you into heaven, kicking and screaming "No!"
Sin and evil is kept out of his "home" (heaven). Sorry folks. It is not your choice any more when you live in God's place.
If that's too boring for you dear heart, then "go to hell"! Literally!
Some people think God is so loving that every one gets in. He's too wise to let creeps foul his nest.
Did you ever hear of "tough love"?
Is that what you want. The guy who raped and murdered you, forgiven and allowed to stalk you for eternity???
NO!!!!! It would not be "heaven" if such evil men where there.
It would not be heaven if evil was there. We MUST be born again!!! Pure and innocent. Willing to give up bad habits and addictions!
He loves us, and does not send people to hell...they send themselves!

Yes, you can lose your salvation. Judas certainly lost his.
If I were hungry, and you gave me $5 to buy lunch, and I lost it in the sewer, it is gone. That certainly doesn't mean I earned it.
Someone who is born again in God can disown God, take his inheritance, and spend it on riotous living. Unless he repents and returns humbly to God, he has no further share in God's inheritance.
Cheers,
Bruce

First you have to consider how a person comes by salvation.
Salvation is obtained when someone is saved, meaning they confess of their sins and forsake them, vowing to not return to what they came from, accepting Jesus as our savior.
It is sin that separates us from God. Losing your salvation is also called backsliding. When a person who has been saved commits a sin, s/he is backslidden.
Some churches erroneously believe that "once saved, always saved", meaning that if a person has ever confessed and been saved, that they will still be alright in their soul, for example, if they died, they would still make heaven (in spite of what sin they committed, be it lying, stealing, adultery, murder, etc.).
Many churches also believe that a person cannot live sin-free, but that is a life of false religion (Babylon) devised in ignorance to lead otherwise sincere people astray.
God will not force someone to accept Him, we are all given free will to decide if we will follow him, God wants us to serve with a wiling heart.

Nope, don't have a concept of needing salvation in the first place. Judaism doesn't have the concept of Original Sin, this is a twisted interpretation by the Church. We are born clean, pure, and unblemished. Not filthy like rags and worthless as Christianity teaches.
If we need forgiveness for any sins we commit during our lifetime then we ASK GOD for forgiveness. Very simple.
And please, stay out of our Torah, don't quote anything from there. Christians are clueless as to the correct meanings, and twist so much of it and turn it into idolatry.
We do not need a pagan human/god virgin sacrifice for sin, for forgiveness. This is disgusting idolatry. This has never, ever been the role of the Messiah in Judaism - Christianity adopted the human sacrifice thing from paganism.

I believe the reason that people say that a christian can lose their salvation is because they do not understand grace. Unless someone understands the grace of God they are unable to "rightly divide the word of truth".
When they come upon a verse like; "For by grace are ye saved, through faith, and that no of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9) either their ignorance or their pride will not allow them to believe, and be thankful for the fact that salvation is a free gift.
A right understanding of grace is not a reason to sin, but rather a motivation to do the good works of God. (Eph. 3:10)
Jesus said: "I know my sheep... and I give unto them eternal life.. and they shall never, never perish."
I feel sorry for those that must have to live their lives in agony worrying from one minute to another whether they've been "good enough" to get into heaven.
It's interesting that these same misguided folks want everyone to be as miserable and confused as they are. I can only imagine that they have been deluded into thinking that somehow doubting if God's free gift is really a free gift equates to piousness...

One can lose their faith, Jesus said so.
Matthew 13:20 The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.
However, Salvation cannot be received until death, we are only justified for it before death.

I'm kinda thankful that I don't have to depend on myself for my salvation, I can't trust Man to something that serious and eternal.
People say they can lose salvation because if they can opt in, they should be able to opt out. I agree with that. It's logical. But I believe we don't get to opt in, God has to do that for us. and it's also logical that we wouldn't be able to opt out if He keeps us in His loving arms througout eternity.

The seed of the gospel of salvation is planted into many hearts. But having it planted into one’s heart is no guarantee that it will bear fruit unto salvation.
For there are those who have their seed snatched away before it can take root, because they fail to understand the message of salvation. These are the unbelieving and unrepentant whose end will be the lake that burns with fire.
Then there are those who receive the word with joy, and whose seeds sprout, but which are unable to bear root for their desire is to please others rather than God; and so when tribulation or persecution arises, they forsake the Faith.
These are those who believe mentally, but have no true repentance or commitment to the Faith. And as such, are cast away with the unbelieving in the lake that burns with fire; the ones who have “lost“ their salvation because their faith was not combined with obedience; Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 7:21-23 & 25:41-46; Luke 6:46,49.
And there are those whose seeds both sprout and take root, but because they are caught up in the affairs of this world, they are unfruitful. Their works are burned up, but they themselves are saved because they are committed to obeying the Torah (to overcoming sin) and to doing what is right; I Corinthians 3:5-15.
And then there are those who receive the gospel of salvation with a pure heart; who both hear the word, and understand it. And they bear fruit in abundance, unto eternal life, for they obey the commandments of Yahuweh, and have the Testimony of Yeshua, Revelation 12:17; 14:12; and love not their lives unto death; Revelation 12:11; Luke 6:47,48, and they receive eternal life at the first resurrection and reign with Yeshua for a 1,000 years; Revelation 20:4-6.
It is not he who professes Yeshua who receives salvation unto eternal life, but He who receives the word with a faithful heart, and endures with it unto the end.
May all who read this message receive it in purity and faithfulness of heart, and endure with it unto the end that they may receive the end result of their faith, the salvation of their soul; I Kepha (I Peter) 1:9.
