I've seen the silhouette at the yellow brick road part and the part where all the munchkins are singing and a little girl hangs herself, but is that really what's happening? Some say yes, some say no.......?

Lots of different people have different beliefs about the origin of humanity. Apparently, any story about the origin of humanity is a sufficiently robust theory to teach as an alternative to evolution (at least according to some people). So, which of the following stories should be taught in schools?
(Feel free to add any that didn't make the list)

Lamarckian evolution,
Raelianism,
Spaghetti Monsterism,
The Cosmic Egg theory,
The Enuma Elish (from Babylon),
The birth of Brahma from a Lotus (Hindu),
The Ash and Embla story (Norse),
Operating Thetan III (Scientology)
The Dreamtime (Australian Aboriginal teachings)
Last Thursdayism
The Starseed Theory (The Adventures of He-Man)
The Living force of Creation (Star Wars)
Magical Hippoism (Told to me by a street "prophet")

So, which of these theories should be taught? All of them?

I am thinking of a career in space, and since the U.S. basically works hand-in-hand with Russia in space, I am considering learning some Russian. Rosetta Stone (the computer program) sounded like a really good way to learn, but then I found out that it costs $209 just for the 'Level 1' lessons! Is it worth it? Or is there another computer program that is better (and costs a lot less!)?

Please don't kill me.....

Is it possible that your arguments against God are just as weak as the arguments for him?

I mean, given all the tangible evidence we have, you pretty much have to choose a side based on instinct. You can't prove or disprove him/her, so is it fair to say that just about every argument can be easily turned the other way?

Like I said please don't kill me. I ask this because I have done a lot of looking into the matter, and supposedly I have read all I need to know about the myth in a shiny silver package (*snicker*), but I am still not convinced. And i am one of the most rational people you could ever meet.

Just to separate yourself from the other religious groups, and because you guess that's what you should put there? How many do it out of ignorance without having given any thought to how that information is used to generate a global picture of the Christian population?

Anyone have any fun gift ideas for a 10 year old boy that is financially disadvantaged. He is already receiving the necessity gifts (e.g. new coat, gloves, hat, clothes, etc.). Obviously, if he is in financial need he should get the necessities, but he's a 10 year old boy and allowed to want things other than those gift ideas. Can anyone think of something a 10yo boy may like for Christmas within a budget of $20-25?

This might sound weird, but I just thought about it. My question is, is the state that we were in before we were born the same state we will be in when we die. In terms of consciousness ? I hope my question is clear enough.

Now i saw on tv where these 14years old girls got kicked off the school bus for kissing. I personal think that 14 is too young to be showing any type of affection to a person you like. THIS is how i feel maybe im right maybe im wrong. My question is. At what age did you know you were GAY? Do you think that 14 is a bit young. I know people experiment when young so im just asking. At what age did you decide you were going to be with the same sex?
