hi.. i was given an after school detention last week for 2 hours where i had to write lines. ' I must follow the school code of conduct at all times' Im from the UK and our detentions at school are from 3.30 til 5.30.

not only are writing pages of lines boring, but your hand and fingers are sore from holding the pen! i used a biro pen, which made my fingers numb, i dunno if a different pen will help?

I have another 2 hr detention on thursday, so any ideas?

what are your detentions like?
xx

i have a bright idea. so you wont get arrested anymore and have detentions... try not to do bad things. they didnt give you lines for being an angel.

detentions here are basically the same thing or you just sit facing a wall for however long your detention is

Do I have any ideas? Yes, top getting detention lol.
I used to get them all the time when I was at school but 2 hours is wayyy too long.
With writing lines you're probably holding the pen tight by the end of it - just be aware of not doing that & it wont hurt as much.
Also, write slowly - do they say how many you have to do? If not, take your time with it.
Or you could sue your school for Repetitive Stress Syndrome & get some compensation lol!

try asking whoever makes u use a pen if u could use a lead pencil instead ,they have comftorble grips and your hands will hurt less,if they say no ,complain to the school, they have to do somthing about it.
