Suppose all the religions are right? or at least a small piece of each one is truth? would you be open to accepting any shred of truth about catholisism if your wiccan? or maybe a christian from an athiest?

every religion justifies its beliefs with faith rather than reason, what basis is there for me to determine which religion is the "right" one? If all religions appeared equally invalid to me as an atheist, then what basis is there for believers to determine whether or not another religion is equally valid to their own, if each religion claims its validity lies in the faith of its followers?

Do you Christians have any evidence or logical reasons to present to non-Christians that would show them that your beliefs are correct, and theirs aren't?

I was at my grandma's last night and my uncle was watching mass on TV. I was listening and the priest started praying. In the prayer he said "we honor" and then listed a bunch of saints. He must of prayed for 5 minutes and the only time he mentioned the name of Jesus was in closing the prayer. Of all the probably 30 or more people he named to be honored none was Jesus. Shouldn't Jesus be the first one mentioned?

If every religion, past, present and future ceased to exist, would there be such a thing as god? Please, I don't want an over religious answer, because that shows me that you people are not thinking and are only siding with your religion because you don't want to be damned for questioning your own religion.

Even though it will inevitably be deleted.

I just wanted to take a moment and tell the Christians here that I *don't* hate you. I'm not trying to shock you. I've never been hurt by Christianity and the handful of Christians that I've been closely associated with are wonderful people.

I'm only here in R&S to discuss Religion and Spirituality, and many, many questions are sometimes asked about mine. So therefore, I often talk openly about my faith. I'm only here to learn and share, just like everyone else.

So that being said, please don't think I'm trying to offend you, because I'm not. The truth is, as rude as this may sound, my spirituality is about ME, not YOU.

Thanks!

Is it necessary for salvation? If not, why do Jesus and the disciples command converts to be baptized? They don't just suggest it, they command it. What is so important about baptism?

29. and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation
