My husband and I broke the wishbone and the top part stayed together and we both ended up with a small part. Who wins? Or do we grab on to the little stumps still there and pull again?? Never seen this happen before and cant find any info in searches. Thanks!!

If so do you find them to be comforting in contrast to much current entertainmemt? Admittedly this could be an "age" thing, but I know others my age who live on a steady diet of media sex and violence and can't see anything negative about it. This has probably been asked before but I'd appreciate your input. Thanks.

Darwin, as we all know, did not recant on his death bed. But, for argument's sake, let's assume he did.

I always see at least a few believers in this section, feeling almost proud of how their particular god managed to lure Darwin over to the religious side.

This assumes that a god would be so silly to accept death bed conversions, for one. It also assumes that specially Christianity uses such horrible fear-tactics, that people even consider converting to it during their last breath. A person dying in pure fear, that's obviously Christianity's goal when being proud of death bed conversions.

Assuming Darwin recanted during his last breath, what's up with the proud smiles of believers when mentioning this, really? I honestly fail to see it, so please explain.

Does it make evolution less valid? Or does it simply show the horrible fear-tactics Christianity uses to even ruin a person's last breath?

Why do Christians try to drag us down into their personal Hell?

WHY (GOD) WOULD NEED HIS SON OR HIMSELF OR BOTH (SINCE CHRISTIANS R MOST CONFUSED PPL) TO BE CRUCIFIED WHY NOT WITHOUT HIM HE PARDONED THE PPL?
& WHY HE SENTS US ON EARTH AND NOT SENT US STRAIGHT TO HEAVEN?

Why humans are here in this world, then there is no need for God to sent us on Earth, & let us wait for him to come & die for our sins. What is the reason why we are here?

God is sooooooooooooo powerful God does not 'NEED to come and die' for anything, y u always degrade God?

“CHRISTIANS” DEGRADE GOD BY SAYING THAT GOD ALMIGHTY CAN’T MAKE MEN STRONG ENOUGH TO MAKE HIM SELF GOOD ENOUGH TO ENTER HEAVEN.

CHRISTIANS WANT ESCAPE ROUTE FOR HEAVEN DESPITE DOING CRIMES, IT WILL NOT HAPPENED B/C GOD CAN’T DO INJUSTICE.

Christian faith = Believing in someone {Jesus (pbuh)} else death will give them absolution. I WONDER HOW.

I want clear & categoric answers.Thank You.

Doctors or interns don't have the time to do all that socializing. On those shows the doctors do all the work, and you hardly see the nurse. Doctors and nurses are too busy to get emotionally involved with the patient, plus doing so can cause problems. An over zealous doctor, can cause lots of problems.

I have yet to see one medical drama show that is spot on.

I understand the opposition to evolution, but why the Big Bang? Big Bang theory doesn't say "something came from nothing". In fact, the theory says absolutely nothing about what originally caused it, or even what happened at that exact moment. There's nothing about it that rules out the possibility of a creator being there at the start. If you want to accept Big Bang theory and believe in a creator at the same time, you certainly can. Theists, why are some of you so opposed to it?

(Let me add that I'm not asking religious people who just think that the Big Bang didn't happen; I'm asking religious people who think that the Big Bang COULDN'T have happened. "Why not?" is my question. Thanks in advance.)

Thanks in advance!

Let's face it, we aren't getting any younger & age should bring wisdom, but instead it seems to bring out the worst in some of us. Does having an attitude about being old seem to disgust those of use who really are getting on in years?
It appears many who use this site are not comfortable with their labels as SENIORS! What are your thoughts about AGE-ism?

Do you feel sad knowing that you/your kids will never attend Hogwart's Academy because you don't believe the Harry Potter tales are true accounts of English life?

No?

Then do you seriously expect nonbelievers to be sad about "missing out on heaven" when they don't even believe in any such place?
