It ruins it a little bit. But the surprise is always there when you actually recieve them!

For yourself, probably. But as long as you don't go telling everyone what they got from your folks then you haven't ruined for others.

One of my sisters never did understand the prospect of a surprise as kids at Christmas. She'd go looking for the presents then have to tell my other sister and myself what we were all getting. And she'd be upset when we weren't excited to find out well in advance. The two of us wanted to be surprised when we opened our presents on Christmas Day, not know ahead of time.

As long as you're not like her, then there's less ruining of the surprise.

When i was young i purposely looked for my presents once. I found them and then realized that I ruined it for myself. It sucked, but I still had a good Christmas, but I understand what you mean about feeling bad. Hope you feel better, soon. Blessings

some years in the past - while courageous sufficient to enable all of it draw close positioned. Me, a buddy and his lady-buddy got here across a coastline in Portugal and gave it a circulate - it became into miles removed from the popular motels with basically a pair of sunlight-worshippers an outstanding distance away. yet then, to our entertainment, an previous chap with a strolling stick marched up in a strange armed forces form of way - got here close - became around and marched back into the far distance. Very comical. Went swimming and it wasn't very nice - a great deal of seaweed doing strange issues to the anatomy. yet then i spotted seaweed became into replaced via 1000's of jelly fish and we raced for the coastline - finding and feeling fantastically stupid. yet a minimum of it became into something to tick off on one's record of life reports. (Been there - executed it - devoid of the T-shirt, and so on.) would not do it those days, for worry of scaring the youngsters or horses.

Not really. Just when you open the presents, put a surprised face on. Your parents won't have a clue. Unless, you are a really bad actor.

I think you should just keep it to yourself and let your parents enjoy your surprise on Christmas.
