Because they don't want to here the truth.
I was reading some other peoples answers and one person said "God hates fags" That's not true. God does not hate anyone. It upsets him that people do not love him. They will face the judgment someday...face to face with God.

you note of what I evaluate is humorous? the first answer I learn stated that they have got recieved extra crap from Christians... And all i'm sayin is... The Muslims who flew planes into the sector change center did not ask each of the atheists to please get off the airplane so that they could be spared. i'm basically sayin. And as far as attacking Christians... really adult adult males, what's the element? Is suggestions no longer a subject that you are able to communicate about instead than attack? i do no longer understand why we may be able to no longer disagree even if though have a communicate about our beliefs. basically thinking i'm a Christian would not recommend that i'd be like countless of the countless Christians you've met previously than, clone of basically thinking you're atheist does no longer mean you are able to have horns and a devil tail (like some Christians i have met look to imagine...) probable we've extra in effortless than you comprehend on the grounds that you aren't any further making an attempt to take heed to what I say, even if top now start up bashing me for my beliefs. isn't that an similar element that annoys you about the Christians who inform you that what you imagine is improper?

"Conscientious obedience to the word of God will be treated as rebellion. Blinded by Satan, the parent will exercise harshness and severity toward the believing child; the master or mistress will oppress the commandment-keeping servant. Affection will be alienated; children will be disinherited and driven from home. The words of Paul will be literally fulfilled: "All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." 2 Tim. 3:12. As the defenders of truth refuse to honor the Sunday-sabbath, some of them will be thrust into prison, some will be exiled, some will be treated as slaves. To human wisdom all this now seems impossible; but as the restraining Spirit of God shall be withdrawn from men, and they shall be under the control of Satan, who hates the divine precepts, there will be strange developments. The heart can be very cruel when God's fear and love are removed."(GC11, 607)

maybe they're just crying wolf. Is there some special reason they shouldn't be attacked? They clearly have a disposition to destroy or condemn all other religions, even authorize the death penalty to "witches". Mind you not all christian religions still comply, the Catholics stopped calling for that in the 1960s. Remember what happened to the boy who cried wolf when the real wolf came...

I don't have anything against Christianity, but fundamentalists really get on my nerves.
Fundamentalists constantly attack freedom of speech.
Fundamentalists would undermine a child's right to the best education possible for antiquated reasons.
Fundamentalists pass unwarranted judgments on other and hide behind their God to justify their intolerance.
Fundamentalists would deny basic liberties and dignities to other citizens on account of their beliefs, their sexual orientation and actively lobby for these things.
Fundamentalists hang on to archaic visions of the family and would like to see women's rights brought back 50 years.
Fundamentalists attack the rule of reason and the right of man to choose his own destiny.
In a word, fundamentalism is a dangerous political force which is fascist in its ideology and which is politically active at achieving those aims. That's why I believe they should be fought for every inch. Because we have something worth protecting against them, namely secular societies based on humanist values.

Hear the words of Jesus Himself:
"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before [it hated] you. If ye were of the world, the world would love its own, but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you (John 15:18-19, King James version)."
Other Scriptures tell us about attacks, too. We have an Enemy whose name is Satan. No, we don't have battles with people, but the influences behind the scenes (Ephesians 6, paraphrase of selected verses). But as one responder has already said, look at the back of the Book! JESUS WINS!

Many Christians, in my experience, are intolerant of people with differing beliefs. Their attitude is, 'You are wrong/evil, we are right/good, so get a clue and convert, you heathens!' I have no problem with people believing and worshipping as they wish, as long as they do not hurt others. (In fact, it's also kinda one of the pillars the Founding Fathers built our country on...!!) But, when religious people of ANY religion treat others with disdain, they would be foolish to expect the warm fuzzies in return. They might also check their Bibles and ask themselves if their behavior is anything close to what Jesus modeled for them.

I try to never attack Christians. I do sometimes find myself vehemently defending my own views, but I completely defend your right to hold your views.
I'm sorry that you feel you're being attacked. Please don't write all of us who choose different paths off as negative. I'm typically a very positive person, and I believe that each of us has a right and a responsibility to follow our own spiritual path.

People can be a little harsh on Christians. Ok, they can be quite harsh on Christians. I guess it's because some people find it so absurd that a group of people would want to worship a being that there is no clear-cut evidence of... So they call Christians stupid, delusional, closed-minded, etc. because they cannot accept that Christians DO want to put their faith in something there is no proof of.

Because they are always attacking other beliefs themselves. Stop trying to feel so persecuted. 2000 years ago Christians were fed to lions. THAT'S persecution. Getting made fun of on the internet isn't.

Because of the vocal Evangelical movement wanting everything to conform to its set of morals. They've pretty much made most people think Christianity is a very intrusive religion. I've experienced this---it's as though they expect the world to revolve around them.
