He relies on evidence, reason, experimentation, the scientific method, proof, science, logic and mathematics when he's in the lab... and abandons it all when reading the Bible.

Scientists don't rely on faith (unless it makes you happy to think they do). They rely on scientific evidence and proofs. If a hypothesis doesn't stand up to the evidence, it (the hypothesis) is rejected. It's NOT still believed because of faith.

I don't believe that they do. If that was true than it would have to be true for other religions, not just Christianity. Science is based on evidence and models, but it's also largely based on faith that the evidence and models are really true. Scientists could still wonder about the world around them but still believe in a higher power. I mean, look at the all the great scientists of our time... like Einstein, Galileo, Newton...

For all of man's wisdom there are things beyond his vision.
If there is no God, why are you so afraid it Him. Why do you want Him to not be, if He's not there anyway. Has someone hurt your feelings?
EVERYONE GETS TO TEST THEIR OWN THEORY. Just wait, you'll get yours too.
The Christian Nation (USA) did something after WWII which has never been done in the history of the world. We won, then built up our enemies so that they prospered more quickly and competely than anyone could have imagined. Never before. Certainly not those nations subjugated by the USSR.
So, is there a God? Yes, He is a Spirit which dwells within the hearts of good men everywhere. So, certainly not you.

ummm... erroneous conclusion drawn from a faulty premise. You assume faith can not be separated from science. Einstein begged to differ from you in 1941
Open heart surgery was pioneered by a Christian, I wonder if your life depended on it and you would find out the surgeon going to work on you is Christian, if you would stand on principle and refuse treatment. I think it would take you all of 10 seconds to sign the consent form.
LOL!!! all science is *faith* based...SCIENTISTS HAVE FAITH THE TOOLS THEY USE ARE INDEED VALID...
Newton was a believer, so I guess his contribution to macrophysics are void as well, no ? Madamme Curie was a believer, so her contributions to chemistry are suspect also ?

Haven't you heard of Christian science?
A lot of scientific proof has benn found about certain bible stories, but there has been also proof disputing certain bible stories.
Either way, science cannot disprove God...it can only disprove the man-written bible.
