I, for one, am one of those He came for? But I notice some people seem to do fine in life without believing in God. Many are doing better than me.
Of course, I am doing much better since I came to the realization that there is a God who came to seek and save the lost and that I was a candidate for His grace.

What about those who have their act together and don't need Christ?

If one of your nearest and dearest be eaten - whether in error (?) because the poor wee thing "wondered into your yard" - or whether she was eaten because somebodies excessive appetites go well without the bounds - even in the culinary areana.

Would you say it was fair that some sort of compensation should be forthcoming.

Let me put this plainly.

A certain party known to us - although I wonder, I really do - has EATEN Hetti. She who has survived abuse by drunken egg raiders. Rape and pillage by rampant Roosters. A failed pop career. She had come back home to enjoy the last of her laying days in peace and quiet.

But no - a motor bike riding bling-ed up Californian muscle bound CANNIBAL has eaten her.

I am distraught - as will be the Big Mac. If anyone was going to eat Hetti - I think MacTealc thought it would be him.

All that is left of our wee bitty bird is the tail feathers that the thieving article laid a false trail with.

Suggestions for punishments please.

And since He's omniscient, He knew they were going to eat it.

And also, since He's all-powerful, if he didn't want them to eat it, how were they able to resist the Almighty Will? I can't even resist gravity.

Is there anything that God wants that we can prevent from happening?

If so, then why is such a sweet person as myself being blocked? I don't care, but it does seem funny.

My girlfriend is Jewish and this is the first "holiday season" we've been together. My family isn't Christian but we celebrate Christmas. I think I should give her something but I don't know when or what, or if this contradicts any sort of Hanukkah tradition.
Any advice you could give me would be great, thanks!

I am sick and tired of it!!! All the trouble religion causes in the world!!! Just keep your beliefs to yourself and stop preaching!!!There is no way there would be half the trouble in this world if it wasn't for all this religion!!!!!

Being video taped ... (BUT NOT SHOWING PRIVATE AREAS. And it's not porn.) That kinda stuff that pleases some guys...(for example: rubbing my boobs together.)
As a Catholic, can that send someone to Hell? And is it against the Catholic religion?

And wonder why you keep answering the same answers over and over again? Shake your head in awe that people can have the same argument using different analogies eighteen times a day? Do you ever just not want to answer anymore?

It will happen, mark my words, it will happen. From the time when literacy rates started to increase and people actually began to read the bible instead of having it read to them, the realization of the bibles absurdity has been steadily growing. As it stands now, people with a too literal interpretation of the bible are shunned and avoided even by those who call themselves average Christians. These same Christians are teaching their children the dangers of being fundamentalist in their approach to religion.

The bible is what made Christianity what it is. Some 2000 years ago when Christianity was in competition with older religious beliefs, the fact that this new religion had the backing of a written text unlike the older traditions which were kept alive by a largely oral basis meant that Christianity had a much easier inception. So the bible gave Christianity its power to influence, without the bible, what happens to Christianity?
