Christians, as we all know, like to sin. Yes, yes, they claim they don't, but reality demonstrates otherwise. What Christian can possibly deny that they don't enjoy a good sin now and then?

Atheism, or course, represents the one and only sin that a Christian can't commit, for the second they do so, they ARE NO LONGER SINNERS!!!

So there you have it... it's total jealousy. Christians, as we all know, want to sin in every way imaginable, but atheism is the one sin forever beyond their grasp. It's like non-stop torture to them. The golden ring, just out of their grasp. Absolutely infuriating!!!

If we can choose to be straight and God gave us free choice then why don't more Christians use their God given freedom of choice and choose to be gay?

I listen to Joel Olsteen on TV., He is a very positive speaker. I remarked that he was inspiring as a minister. A friend said he was not an ordained minister. Is he? If so what school did he go and when did he go there. Not that it matters he is still very inspiring.

My husband and his family and myself got into this conversation last night i was wondering what are your thoughts on this. They're christians and im a JW we where all split on the thought of this so you know abortion is against biblical principles you'd never get an abortion but what if you had a tubular(sp?) pregnancy? (where the fertilized egg implants itself in your (significant others) falopian tube) the baby stays there and grows you both die, you get the baby out the its technically an abortion. what are your thoughts on this and what would you/did you do in this situation?

Why is it an unspoken assumption that cosmopolitanism is better than insularity? I prefer the idea of a self-contained community or culture to one that is merely a part of some greater whole. I don't want to live in a global village. Isn't it nicer for your cultural referents to be closer to you, rather than far away and rather alien? Isn't it somehow more dignified? Why are people called narrow-minded for preferring the close to the far away? I wish every culture, nation and community was more insular.

I am currently in a philosophy of religion class and my teacher is an atheist. He claims that under an Islamic state if a born Muslim converts to another religion he is killed. Please tell me if this is true.

Okay I was driving home and I approached a pick-up with that bumper sticker on it. When I passed him, I noticed that he was talking on a cell phone with one hand and eating a huge hamburger with the other hand. My question is....Was God steering for him, like my friend does sometimes, because nobody else was in the passenger seat?

Dead or alive. Could be God or it could be a nun who died in the 17th century - no rules except that the figure you drink with will be human in the sense that they, too, will be getting drunk at the normal rate at which a human would get drunk. Oh yeah - open bar all night and any food you'd want.

If you don't drink, it don't matter. You can have water or juice or whatever.

I'd love to have a few beers with Jesus to see what he *really* said - if he said anything.

Are all psychics considered bad by Christian standards? Because there seems to be a whole side of spirituality that seems to be ignored.

I do not wish to defend either way, I just question if Christians all over the world are to have faith in this entire hierarchy that we cannot see, should we not focus 90% of our time on that specific realm? Such as, not looking at someone as a person, but a spirit with a body? Or when two people disagree, could it be a spiritual conflict? How about preferences in choosing a mate? I am seeking answers from both sides.

Christians, please be descriptive.
Athesists, please don't give me the same bashing answers, I would like to hear something fresh.

Honestly, I ask this because I need to fulfill spiritual needs, and I feel my faith is purely spiritual, from answering of prayers, to how I feel psychologically.

Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s guardian?” Then He said, “What have you done? Your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground! So now you are cursed [with alienation] from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed. If you work the land, it will never again give you its yield. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.” But Cain answered the Lord, “My punishment is too great to bear! Since You are banishing me today from the soil, and I must hide myself from Your presence and become a restless wanderer on the earth, whoever finds me will kill me.” Then the Lord replied to him, “In that case, whoever kills Cain will suffer vengeance seven times over.”And He placed a mark on Cain so that whoever found him would not kill him. Then Cain went out from the Lord’s presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
