God uses their own language and inserts His words as a thought in their head - so he does not actually talk at all. For others, He speaks through events and signs. For example when I go out in the garden and see that a plant I moved has died - God is telling me that I was wrong, it did not want more sun. The more elaborate the communication described, the more skeptical I am that they have had any communication at all.

Hypothetically, God would speak all languages, being perfect. But the people who claim to 'hear' voices have reported a variety of experiences. Some say it was their language, some said it was a language unknown to them (presumably Aramaic, or whatever language their version of Gods early followers spoke) that they somehow 'miraculously' understood. Some say it was the perfect language of heaven, unknown to humankind, again, miraculously understood by the schizophrenic, um, true believer.

I think God speaks all languages, I think when God speaks to people he speaks to them in a language they can understand , But I also feel that if he spoke to them in another language, he would definitly reveal to them what he has said.

I think when they heard God they heard it in the language they spoke. I think thats kind of like asking someone who was raised speaking spanish and then learned English if they dream in Spanish.

Their own of course!

If triangles made a god he would have three sides.

Still, what I don't get is why, if god is talking directly to them, they still can't agree with one another. I mean, if there's disagreement among Christians about, say, for example, the age of the earth, then why don't they just ask him and settle the matter once and for all...
