His name was taken out of scripture during the reign of Constantine and even before when the jews were carried away into captivity. They were known as the Yahudim (ya-hoo-deem) or yahudium. "There go a couple of yahoos" was a deregatory remark made towards the worshippers of God. It was a crime to mention his name in public because if you did you were punished to the point that even the worshippers themselves stopped mentioning his true name. Its said in Genesis "they will forget my name". Calling him by his name also tells loudly that you KNOW him, not just know of him. I know of the President but i dont know him, i cant call the whitehouse and ask for 'george'

Yhwh or Jhwh was the translated name for God in the Old Testament. That is the God of today under a different language.

Without Him I am nothing. Yes, I worship and bow down to Him with all my heart and soul.
