As to the second part of your question, I guess it's because they read that part of the Bible.
Now, for the first part:
1. We are all born with a tendency toward sin. How that sin manifests itself differs from one person to another. I believe that the direction that sin goes in is largely dependent on the experiences of that person as a child. I am not so sure if we have a choice of which sin attracts us the most. I believe it's a matter of conditioning.
2. I do not believe that homosexuality could be hereditary because if it were, it would be self genociding.
3. Gay is a stolen word. If I were to refer to Liz and Sara as the lezbos, there would be times when they were definitely not gay.

Being gay isn't a choice one makes. You are either born this way or not. Most people choose to be hetero because of the stibma society puts on the gay community. Like they have some kind of desease or something. Anyone who thinks a person who is gay is just chossing to do so or is going through a phase is an idiot. Studies have shown that a person who is gay have differences in the brain than a person who is not gay. Its not God it's society.

Sex is a choice. Sexuality or attraction is not always a choice. A person chooses whether or not to engage in sex, except in the case of rape. We view rape as a horror because it removes the person's freedom to choose.
Sexual attraction is not a choice or we wouldn't bother picking a partner based upon attraction. We could pick any person and choose to be attracted to that person. (Wouldn't that be so easy). Sexual attraction is a complicated thing that includes biological and sociological factors.
As such, heterosexuality is both a choice and a non-choice. We choose to have sex with another person. This is our choice. However, we may be attracted to someone else. This is not our choice.
I love my wife. However, she is not the only woman that attracts me sexually. This is not my choice. If it were, then I would only be attracted to her. It is my choice, however, to choose to have sex with only her and no one else.
Christians believe that sex is a sacred act ordained by God. According to His design, sex was created between a MARRIED man and woman. This means any sex outside of marriage, whether heterosexual or homosexual, is wrong in the eyes of God.

Well a"Good Christian" would not choose to be gay because that is wrong and sick and a huge sin. (I am Chirstian but I do not believe this) But, I highly doubt hetero or homo sexuality is a choice I think you're just born that way or are born to lean to bo more gay or straight, most gay people say they just are and some of them tried being straight but they feel like they are living a lie.

Hmmmm, Oh yeah, it's only the Catholic Clergy that has sex with little boys. Don't forget that it was christians who also like to have gay sex with meth freaks,or with strangers in a airpotr bathroom. Pastor Ted and Sen. Craig have had some problems in their choice to be straight.

If you could choose not to be gay, there wouldn't be nearly as many priests hiring 'male escorts.' It's not a choice; your sexual orientation is encoded in your DNA. There are in fact many Christians who are gay, they're just in denial because the Bible tells them that it's an 'abomination.' *rolls eyes*

First, freedom of choice is not an all-inclusive thing. You don't have the right to choose to murder, you don't have the right to harm others.
Second, people do not choose to be gay. No one really thinks that; the problem is that although they are attracted to the same sex, they are not to indulge in that attraction. In the same way a druge addict didn't choose to be an addict, but they have to refrain from drugs forever.

Christians don't choose to be gay because the Bible says its an abomination before the Lord for all generations. Therefore, if they have those feelings they choose not to live out that lifestyle.

Because being gay is not a moral, or a natural lifestyle. No matter how you try to rationalize it, it still isn't. And why a christian would choose to be gay, i tell you, that is the most stupid question I have ever seen.

It's because many of them read the Bible and the Bible says that one will go to Hell for being gay; The bible also says that one will go to Hell for not being true to oneself.
....but there is also a belief that only a person can make a choice to go to Hell if they so desire and not on their deeds.
