When you try to answer a question and it says "cannot be viewed at this time, does that mean I am blocked?

If so, then why is such a sweet person as myself being blocked? I don't care, but it does seem funny.

Mooshe, not that it matter, but I have no Texas affiliations. I lived there once for a two years and could hardly wait to get out.

Hello Connie...and yes, you are very sweet! Don't know why some people do what they do, especially when we haven't given them any reason to shut us out like this.

Only once did I have to block a "member"....came on very nice and friendly during the day but one night, about 3am, put up a nasty post about us Seniors, on the Senior site!! I'm sure they screwed up and meant it to go into a different category. Anyway, I called them on it and paid the price for a while, till Irita told me to block them. It was good advice, and after following up with three different screen names, this person is long gone.

So far that's been the only time I had to resort to it and certainly wouldn't do it "just because". It's too bad there are others who don't feel the same way. At least now you know that you're not the only one....and by the way, I enjoy your questions and answers!

Yes - I think so - because there is one person who posts many times and every time I try to answer I get the
"cannot be viewed at this time" too! So I think that that is what is called blocking. And also, this particular individual who (I believe blocks me) is one of those who is always saying - oh! don't worry about it - just get on with life -etc. I am of course, paraphrasing! CJ

Yes, that's what it means. But, I've read that sometimes people put on an accidental block, not realizing they've done it. Although, I'm not sure how anybody can not know they've used the block feature; my earlier understanding was that blocking is done on a per-person basis.

Yep, that's what it means - however, I, too, have been blocked by folk I don't even know! Matters not to me one way or another. After all, I'd rather to have folk who WANT to read what I have to say rather than those who DON'T...so carry on blockers! :-)

Note: I am one who is accepting no new contacts...that is not blocking. They can still read anything I do. I have done so to avoid trolling amongst my now contacts.

I accidentally blocked someone once instead of adding to my contacts. See previous question about what you do when you are tired! Rude and abusive people don't bother me personally, as I know who I am, and my PC has an icon that says log off.

Don't worry, we all know you are sweet.
I have been blocked by a couple of people too, I don't feel I've done anything to upset anyone and so I'm not going to worry about it anymore.

Connie, don't let it bother you my dear. You are a sweet person. I have been blocked for quite some time now by Just me. I don't feel like I'm missing anything by her doing this. Just enjoy those of us who wouldn't think of blocking you.
