My girlfriend is Jewish and this is the first "holiday season" we've been together. My family isn't Christian but we celebrate Christmas. I think I should give her something but I don't know when or what, or if this contradicts any sort of Hanukkah tradition.
Any advice you could give me would be great, thanks!

I forgot to give the details of the relationship, we have been dating for about 6 months, known each other for a year, and we're both 17.

I don't think she particularly wants something Hanukkah themed, she's less religious than her parents and already gets a lot of Jewish jewelery.

You can give her any gift you want to give her. (It doesn't have to be a Kosher food gift unless you know she keeps Kosher and would like that sort of thing). Any gift is fine though.

Hanukkah starts on Dec 4th this year (at Sundown)...so that's a nice time to give her a gift.

Of course you should it would be a wonderful thing to do. I'm Jewish and celebrate Hanukkah and I got a Jewish star necklace one year and loved it. She might like that. If that's to religious for her then you could give her a visa gift card with some money on it and then she can spend it on anything she wants I got that for my birthday and it was so use full.

You can get her anything that you might get a girlfriend for Christmas, but make sure you don't wrap it in Christmas paper. If you can't find anything with a Hanukkah design on it, get blue and silver.
