Interesting that folks say Atheism isn't a religion. Here's what the dictionary says a religion is:
a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
Atheists have a set of beliefs concerning the nature etc. of the universe, they have a theory as to the creation of people, they have the ritual observance of insulting any other belief, and maintain a fast and steady stream of objections when we say they have no morals, they claim they have an excellent moral code.
Yet, not a religion. Hmmm.

Besides your provocative use of words, it is sad for me that people are easily throwing cultural and religious values over board because it's trendy. Our mind and behavior is the result of millenniums of positive development and advancement. Many are now either parroting some thoughts of others, forgetting their own faculties, or using their "logic" faculties solely in a materialistic way, accepting or demanding evidence for everything in our life. No spiritual considerations go into that thinking. An atheist has similar problems than a believer in a creator, there is no evidence that God does NOT exist.

Atheism is NOT a religion: it is, by definition, the lack of religion. It is also the only possible conclusion of anyone who seriously investigates the subject.

It would be very stupid if it existed, Atheism is denial of any religion so it is a complete failure if an atheist religion is established.

Secular Humanism and Buddhism are the only formal religions that incorporate atheism, to my knowledge. I don't have any particular thoughts on either.
