I don't fully understand your question
i am not religious but but i respect it because some of my dearest family members are and from them and others i know who are, there are a lot of different ways to God it's just a matter of finding the one right for you by having an open mind to other methods of spiritualism
think father, son, holy ghost, thats three ways right there depending on how you look at it

Jesus is several things,
First He is Gods only personally created creation.
What I mean is God created Jesus, and then Jesus created everything else with His fathers directions and approval
Second, He was with God before any other creation, so He has a favored position.
Third, God is SOOOOO perfect, that He cannot deal with imperfection at all. It cannot appear before him in His Heavenly Realm.
So Jesus, Who loved the Sons of Man SO much He willingly gave His Perfect life in a RANSOM to free men of Satan's clutches is also the Mediator between Us as imperfect Humans and His Father God Almighty.
Read , First Timothy Chapter 2, verse 5: For there is one mediator between God and man an MAN named Christ.
Galatians, though long and involved, speaks of CHRIST as One Mediator, The New Law, and Christ being the tutor, to lead us to the new Law of God.
That is Galatians 3:19-29
Now Hebrews 8:6 said,"But now Jesus has obtained a more excellent public service, so that He is also a mediator of a correspondingly better covenant, which as been legally established upon a better promise.
So according to bible scripture, it is the correct way to approach God, through our mediator, Jesus.
Jesus earned the right through His painful, and Faithful death.and then Resurrection to the Heavenly spirit realm to present His Perfect sacrificed Human body to His Father, as a show of Faith, and Loyalty.

In my opinion, God is a concept, a concept of what we cannot understand.Religiously speaking, Jesus is not the only way to god.Muslims believe in Mohamed, Jews in Moises and Mormons in Joseph Smith. They're all just a way to fill up that emptiness that we all feel when we ask ourselves:Where did we come from? Why are we here? What is the meaning of life?
We do not have an answer to all of this questions so we try to fill that emptiness with religion, which is not a bad thing, it's just a basic human necessity, the necessity to know.
So it really doesn't matter which way you pick, as long as you believe in it.

He is not. He cannot be. Think of it this way, Jesus was born approximately only 2000 years ago. Mankind has been around for many many thousand years ago. So if Jesus was the only way to God, why would he come to this world so late? Why not at the beginning of mankind?
Yes, he does mention that he is the only way to God. A few thousand years ago, Lord Krishna mentioned the same thing. A few thousand years later, Prophet Mohammad (I am not sure of the name) also mentioned it.
God is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. It is not possible to comprehend such a God in your intellect. It is easier to see a person. So many times there are Avatars (who are one with God just as us, but they know it :-) take physical birth to uplift humans by serving as an example and basically because it's much easier follow someone physically present.
But you know humans. They are more attracted to miracles than in the real teaching. They are eager to stick by the words (they even will kill others for word) but not even try to understand the meaning behind the word.
It is said "Be still and know that I am God". How many people meditate and try to still their mind? That is boring. Instead, they will try to force these words onto others. Christians started enticing people with money and shelter to convert them so that they have more people believing in the "word". Muslims did this by forcing others. Everyone does this on the pretext of doing this for God or for the benefit of their targets because "their" word is the only truth!
"I am that I am". How profound! How beautiful! God is pure consciousness, existence itself. How many people meditate on this? If they did, they would realize God. But no, they will rather be interested in making sure others are following the same word, though not trying to understand them.
I saw one sticker on a car. "Lord, please save me from your followers!". How true!

Its not. Christians believe in Jesus, the Malays in Mohammad, the Chinese in their own God as well as the Buddha. There is no way you can reach God easily. You need a lot of faith and do good. In the Buddha's teachings, it states that you have to meditate, have a calm mind and do good to reach the nirvana (God state). This is particularly true as in Newton's third law, when there is an action force, there will be a reaction force opposite in direction. That means if you do good, you will gain more positive energy and go to heaven. That's why every religion teaches us to do good and don't do bad because it all comes back to you. If we plant an apple tree, we will get apples. That is Newton's law and as we live in this world we are governed be this law and cannot escape from it. Meditation calms our mind and creates positive energy too. Praying in each religion is actually a type of meditation. You calm yourself down and try to cite the prayers with all your heart. To reach God you must start with your attitude. Do good to all beings and pray with a sincere heart and you will have positive energies that enables you to reach heaven. Religions are like moral education that educates us regardless of race and skin color but if you don't follow it, you will be left out.

Jesus was the only perfect human being to ever live on this earth. Because He was sinless, He didn't have to be subject to the effects of sin, which is being shut out of the presence of God. Because He is the literal physical Son of God the Father, He inherited the omnipotent characteristics of Diety by which He overcame the effects of both physical and spiritual death. He was the only human being with the capacity to do so.
After He was resurrected with a glorified physical body and permited back into God's presence, He, through covenant has shared those blessings of immortality and eternal life with us. The covenant is, on our part, to have faith in Him, to repent and to be baptised. He in turn provides a way for our sins to be remitted so through Him we qualifiy to return to God's presence.
The laws of Justice requires that for every wrong act we commit, we must suffer a consequence. Jesus's atonement satisfies the demands of justice, if we repent. Because God is perfectly Holy and cannot look upon sin with the least decree of allowance, we cannot qualify to live in the presence of God without the way provided for our sins to be remitted. Only Through Christ are our sins remitted. With the fall of Adam came both physical and spiritual death, meaning man was cut off from the presence of God and physical death came into the world. Because of Christ being resurrected we can be resurrected and live again, and through His atonement we can return back into God's presence.

In part, following the system of the Old Testament.
Knowing the old covenant, helps to understand the new covenant of the Kingdom of God with Christ as King and Priest.
The Jewish priests were the mediators for the Jews.
Now, Christ is the mediator in the manner of Melchizedek.

There are many ways to God for believers...
Personally, though...
I believe in the fundamental teachings of Christ when it comes to things like love, compassion, mercy, tolerance, love all people...not just the quarterback or Prom Queen...raise the kids right, non-violence, peaceful protest (although he kinda' lost it with the money-changers)...
But I'm just "real" skeptical about his mother being a virgin, and him rising from the dead...coma, maybe...but not the dead...
And about him being the "One & Only Oh Holy Moly Son of the Almight Creator of the Universe..."
That strikes me as "far-fetched" at its' best...
