I just wanted to take a moment and tell the Christians here that I *don't* hate you. I'm not trying to shock you. I've never been hurt by Christianity and the handful of Christians that I've been closely associated with are wonderful people.
I'm only here in R&S to discuss Religion and Spirituality, and many, many questions are sometimes asked about mine. So therefore, I often talk openly about my faith. I'm only here to learn and share, just like everyone else.
So that being said, please don't think I'm trying to offend you, because I'm not. The truth is, as rude as this may sound, my spirituality is about ME, not YOU.

That is why we are here, to discuss and ask and answer questions. It is to bad others make it a site for rudeness and mockery. We might get answers to our questions that we do not like, but then again, we asked didn't we? As long as we keep the rudeness and mockery out, everyone should be able to discuss. I figure when people are rude and mock, it just means they are threatened by what they do not understand, so they show their fear in the words they use.
Hope your statement doesn't get deleted and glad to hear you don't hate me because I am a Christian. I don't hate you either!! Lets ask away and answer away!!!
