Only give a gift if you want to. One gift is appropriate (no need to give more). And the first night of Chanukah is Dec 4th this year (it's a Tuesday).
So if you can, give them a Chanukah card and their gift on Tuesday (Dec 4th....the first night) or Wednesday (Dec 5th...the first day). That will be very thoughtful!

It doesn't matter, there aren't any set traditions with this. Just one gift, any time during the 8 days is fine.
Gift-giving isn't really a part of Hanukkah. It's been added in because of all the gift-giving that every one else is doing. And it's fun to give someone a present.

You only need to give them one gift. You can give them the same sort of things you would give a neighbor for Christmas, but make sure to wrap it as a Hanukkah gift...blue and silver wrapping. You can give it to them any evening during Hanukkah.

HI, I would say just one gift. You don't have to hand it to them and say "Happy 1/8th Hanukkah", you don't have to specify a holiday at all. You could just hand them a prezzie and say "Happy Holidays!"
It would most likely be the first day of Hanukkah that you'd want to give your gift.
Happy Holidays!!

Very appreciating idea. Take some gifts for them befitting the occasion, they will become happy to receive them from a christian neighbor.

Its a wonderful thought to give a gift. You can ask to give to a charity they choose, or offer to plant a tree in Israel in their Family name, or just Make something you are talented at, one gift is just fine. You may also bring a small bag of gold potatoes and ask them to make Latkes,(special potatoe pancakes), or Jelly Donuts from an Israeli store or bakery- traditional in Israel- called Soofganiot,(spelling hard in english).Or a Gift Card to have them pick their own gift. Just have fun, its a wonderful for them to have such a thoughtful friend.

Nawww! They would completely understand that if you're Christians that one gift is enough. The thought is always nice for them to be thankful.
Have a great Christmas!

Nahh, they wouldn't expect you to. Especially if you're not very close family (I don't think even close family give presents every night-5 or 6 sounds good).
