I have a 6 month old baby girl,me and my boyfriend dont smoke.Both of our parents do,and with the hoilays coming they all want us to come to there house,but they smoke in there house.They say thata they will not smoke in the house while we are there ,but i'm still not comfortable taking my baby some one smokes in.Am i being to peronoid?

For example, I know a school in Michigan set aside a prayer room for Muslims. Although, they also have a chapel set aside too. And CU-Boulder let Bill McCartney run his "Promise Keepers" (a fundamentalist Christian group) using university facilities for some time...

Personally I wouldn't approve of any of those expenditures, but I'm curious where the double-standard exists?

I just got my first violation for calling a moron on the sports section "stupid." He was talking very ugly to fans of a certain football team, so I called him stupid. I didn't know that would get me a violation. I thought only dirty talk got violations. Although "stupid" is pretty dirty, I admit.

I mean, They take money and dreams from desperate and ill people time and time again. It is so sad and downright sickening that they are allowed to do this. I love America and our freedom of enterprise, but this is just wrong :(

I asked a simple question asking about the scientific basis morality and you guys just proved how unscientific minded you really are. You atheists really are something. You praise science and scientific fact all day long but when someone asks you for proof all you can give is insults and emotions. Those atheists who did not do this then I am not talking to you. What do you think the one truth about God is, that the world doesn't get?
You see I feel that God has Soverign reign, and that not many people in the world understand that. The world in general doesn't know or won't allow themselves to know, that He is Creator of all we see and don't see. And that it is only because of His Soverign will that any of us have our being.

...what do you think that tells you about your religion? Is there any shred of validity in the negative attention that your religion receives? Are the factors that elicit negative attention a significant part of your religion? Does it matter that those elements are obviously significant to others?

With the UK having so many different cultures residing here do you think its time to rename Christmas so everyone can join in & celebrate together without causing offence
Maybe this could stop racism if we celebrate as one .

what exactly were those "evils"? i've known countless wiccans of all ages, and never have i come across anything in their rituals that was evil, yet some people in here claim this to the be case.

Has anyone experienced anything weird at the age of 25? I am going through this panic and I can't really pinpoint what I am panicing about. My thoughts are scattered and I can't seem to get my brain to spit out the right words.

Someone told me that when they hit 25, they freaked out. That is only a few months away for me. Has anyone else gone through anything like this?
