Jesus was indeed perfect and the model by which we are supposed to live our lives. I say this often as I am christo-pagan, please try to look at his life and the example he set and less on who he is. He was a teacher and priest and some say assended master. Believe or not, he was and is the greatest creature that has walked the planet and he continues to teach us all to this day.

Perfect - based on God's standards. He is God in human flesh. 100% man and 100% God. Really - our finite minds cannot even comprehend the fullness of infinite perfection. We only consider the concept yet we ourselves cannot understand it fully or put it into practice fully. We can take what we can understand and practice it. Amazing really is what He is. We try to determine what right and wrong is and God gave us a conscience to be able to discern it. Our culture and media when it does try to convey some form of morality does it in human fashion and it doesn't quite measure up to God's standards even when they get it right. The real picture of Him is found in the Bible but even then you have to read it with a heart that is devoted to learn and understand and realize that in your finite mind there are going to be unanswered questions.

So perfect that he actually said, "whoever has seen me, has seen the my Father", in other words GOD. Jesus was so perfect that he imitated God's qualities to perfection.
