It seems likely that many or most Jehovah's Witnesses would cite their own imperfect flesh as their most difficult challenge.
(Romans 7:23-25) I behold in my members another law warring against the law of my mind and leading me captive to sin’s law that is in my members. Miserable man that I am! ...with my mind I myself am a slave to God’s law, but with my flesh to sin’s law.

I'd say 3. Our own imperfect flesh. Definitely. Because the hardest to cultivate of "the fruitage of the spirit" seems to be self-control. It's hard to bridle the tongue. Even control where your eyes look. :) But, with prayer we can do it. It's not so bad...

That's a tough one - personally, I think all three.
1. The World - Being out in the world less than many others (I don't have a public job) , I don't have to deal with it as much as others.
2. Satan - Satan brings much trouble to us and I think he is the worse. I blame him for all the problems.
3. Our own imperfect flesh - We not only have sinful desires to contend with, but also many health issues. Those are both hard to deal with also.
So it's hard to pick just one.

I am a former JW. The hardest thing I had to deal with was my own "imperfect flesh"....... it seemed impossible to ever be good enough. No matter how hard I tried or how much time I spent in the ministry or in Bible study I could never measure up. Just when I thought I was being the kind of person God would approve of, I'd go to a meeting and hear what I wasn't doing right. I finally became so downhearted I couldn't go anymore. Now that I don't go I feel good about myself. I love my neighbor and God and I don't need to be constantly reminded of how bad or "imperfect" I am to motivate me to be good.

Wow! I honestly don't know how to answer this.... I struggle with my own conscience. I have OCD and a lot of times it makes me feel NOT worthy. It is a constant "thorn in my flesh". My father in law (an elder) gave me a copy of a talk called "Jehovah is greater than your heart" which is just wonderful!!!! It really helps me appreciate how I can not judge myself and I how I have to not be so hard on myself. So I'm not sure where on your list this fits in. :)))

We are living in Satan wolrd along with it's influences and our sinful flesh. Satan's influences in this world is hard to a imp[erfect human. That's why we have a fight. Paul tells us it is a fight "not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places." In no sense does this mean we are to fight against or oppose the human governments of our day. In fact, we are told to pray for kings and rulers that we may continue to lead peaceful and quiet lives, accomplishing the work God has assigned. Jesus told his disciples: "If my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight." (John 18:36) The fight the apostle Paul referred to above in his letter to the Ephesians is against the spiritual organization of Satan, which has dominated and controlled the earth for centuries.-2 Cor. 10:4; Eph. 6:12; 1 Tim. 2:1-3, NW.
5 The effect of this powerful demonic control over the people has been to blind the minds of the unbelievers to the light of truth.
Furthermore, [it is] YOU [God made alive] though YOU were dead in YOUR trespasses and sins, 2 in which YOU at one time walked according to the system of things of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit that now operates in the sons of disobedience. 3 Yes, among them we all at one time conducted ourselves in harmony with the desires of our flesh, doing the things willed by the flesh and the thoughts, and we were naturally children of wrath even as the rest. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, 5 made us alive together with the Christ, even when we were dead in trespasses-by undeserved kindness YOU have been saved- 6 and he raised us up together and seated us together in the heavenly places in union with Christ Jesus, 7 that in the coming systems of things there might be demonstrated the surpassing riches of his undeserved kindness in his graciousness toward us in union with Christ Jesus.
8 By this undeserved kindness, indeed, YOU have been saved through faith; and this not owing to YOU, it is God's gift.
