I mean, I know, it's hard. It's always part of you, but IT DOESN'T DEFINE YOU. Don't you think psychologists spend too mcuh time bogged down in problems, instead of moving on?
I mean, I got beaten, I got tortured, I got raped, I got left pregnant by myself, what didn't I get done to me? I spent time on the streets, I tried killing myself, I spent time in shelters, but now I'm HAPPY because I've moved on from that.
And at the end of the day, it's your ability to move on and forgive and have fun with life and love the people around you that matters, and focus on your family, not whatever happened to you in the past.
Don't you think that's what psychologists shoudl focus on?
I mean, it's so much easier with religion to move on with stuff, it doesn't focus on getting into the prolbem, it focuses on accepting and moving on.
