I mean, think about it. It's inevitable. Nobody is exempt. And sometimes, death can be a welcome relief from pain. Most people who believe in an afterlife seem to think that it's going to be much better than this earthly life.

So why, when we're faced with death, do we try so hard to avoid it? Why do we try to postpone it for as long as possible?

To be fair this is just out of curiosity I want anyones and everyones opinion. I know this question seems to be pointed towards those who are not Indian but, I would like those of you who are Indian to answer this as well. Because more English people are being married into Indian families now. Before you answer you might want to look at the questions below, they might help you answer the question and inform me of what i'd like to know. Thank you.

Do you find Indian girls attractive?

Would you socialise with them?

Would you prefer to keep to your own race?

Would you be ready to welcome their culture and religion?

Would you consider a relationship with them?

So what of the population thing? Say everyone was fed, what do you think would happen, how do you think the government would handle it, and what are your thoughts on it?

Dear God:
I know that I'm a sinner. I deserve Hell. But You sent Jesus to die for my sins. I believe that He died and rose again. I ask you now to forgive my sins, once an for all. I now receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Saviour. Please come into my heart and save me, Help me to know I am saved and live for You, the rest of my life. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

I dont believe in god but dont sin in life, maybe the odd time, but nothing major at all. I consider myself to be a kind person and generally try and do things right. Spending an eternity in hell seems like a pretty harsh punishment for me doesnt it, purely because i have my own thoughts. If you say i am going to hell then is god just as bad as hitler, he doesnt like what i belive in so i must burn?

I've just read a story in the NOTW Sunday magazine about a 36 year old man who suffered 'cyber-bullying' by 363 students at Kent university. A hate site had been formed on Facebook where these kids had signed up to say how much they wanted to kill this guy. The only thing he had done was tell people to be quiet while they were in the uni library where he worked as a noise patrol officer.
These kids parents thought their offspring were getting an education and all the time they were finding new ways to make someones life a misery. In the worst possible way.
So far the man has received an apology from four of the eight ringleaders. No one has been punished and the sight has been shut down. Not Good Enough!! If any of these kids were mine I'm afraid I would be withdrawing any kind of funding I had provided towards their education and they would be shown the door. Simple as. The internet may be a wonderful thing but in the wrong hands it is the worst invention ever.

I don't see why people like me, the average Joe, have to apologise for slavery. The rich and their descendents must apologise for it, not us. The working class suffered due to slavery as we starved to death as slavery was cheap labour which meant that the rich didn't care if our crops failed. If anyone should apologise or compensate, it should be Tate and Lyle or Barclays Bank or similar companies plus the coastal African ethnic traders who profited (who have kept strangely quiet about the issue). The British were enslaved by the Romans, but in retrospect, the Romans were good for us by teaching us civilisation. I don't see us calling for compensation from the Italians. Whatever the evils of slavery were, nobody is suffering from it nowadays apart from the wage slaves and the slaves of prostitution. We need to free these people. Discuss....(?)

Well I have no motivation to go to church.
I think godly talk and the Bible is way boring.
I don't pray and if I do it's because my mom makes me.
I haven't gone through confirmation and I'm 15.
I don't know what I really believe deep inside.
My family is at church right now and my mom didn't make me go so I didn't.

I'm againt the Christian morals of:
Modesty. I don't think we should have to hide our talents.

Anti-homosexuallity. I support gays/lesbiens/and bis

Sex after marrige [sp?]. I think people should have sex when they feel the moment is right.

I used to love going to church when I was in 4th and 5th grade and I'm afraid that I have grown to believe that God isn't real. I don't want to go to "Hell" though. Any suggestions, anything at all?!

That when we (Americans) deport Illegal Criminals back to their own country that we send them to a "different" one instead.

You know like the young Mexican immigrant on America's Most Wanted (from Saturday night) who killed his girlfriend and fled. He was found in Nevada and after he stands trial, we send him back to Mexico, what if we send him to the Dominic Republic instead. Or how about Iran. Would this be funny, justice or the "American Way" with a twist?

I mean, I know, it's hard. It's always part of you, but IT DOESN'T DEFINE YOU. Don't you think psychologists spend too mcuh time bogged down in problems, instead of moving on?
I mean, I got beaten, I got tortured, I got raped, I got left pregnant by myself, what didn't I get done to me? I spent time on the streets, I tried killing myself, I spent time in shelters, but now I'm HAPPY because I've moved on from that.
And at the end of the day, it's your ability to move on and forgive and have fun with life and love the people around you that matters, and focus on your family, not whatever happened to you in the past.
Don't you think that's what psychologists shoudl focus on?

I mean, it's so much easier with religion to move on with stuff, it doesn't focus on getting into the prolbem, it focuses on accepting and moving on.

Well being black means that you have skin that is called black, but I don't mean the colour of the hair that most people who are known as blacks have. They have hair that is called black and the skin is also called black but not the same black as the colour of their hair. Black peoples skin can be recognised as varying shades of brown through to the deepest brown that is almost black but when expressing the colour verbally you call it black, but not the kind of black that you see on their hair. You get me?

I give an an opinion -- A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof (http://education.yahoo.com/reference/dictionary/entry/opinion) -- someone feel sthe need to give a thumbs down to a statement that is respectful of the asker, and the community. Have people become so think skinned that an opposing position is a threat?

In the words of a very good friend, "Opinions are like @ssholes. Everyone's got one."

Grab six or seven dice and roll them at the same time. Will they come up the same? Probably not, but if you roll them over and over eventually they will, even if it takes years, and when they do, it will look like a pattern but really, it is just chance. Can't people see at least the possibility that over billions and billions of years, the universe could settle down in what seems like a pattern but is really chance? Given that much time? I'm not trying to convert anybody to anything, I'm just trying to get someone to see that an orderly universe happening by chance is not that unrealistic given the time frame we are talking about.

The particuler phrase I'm looking for goes something like this: the day will come when good will be called evil and evil will be called good.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me. I can't find it in my concise Strong's Concordance of the Bible because the editors decided that the word "good" is not one that the reader is likely to use in searching for particular passages in Scripture. I've also tried the various on-line concordances found at BibleGateway.com, but to no avail. Thanks.
