His attitude toward the people is illustrated in his latest ignorant statement:

Being President of the USA is not always a good job. This man's second term became protecting the people and so far since 9/11, the people have been protected. He expects every threat heard of by the CIA and the FBI be acted upon and he doesn't care how we are protected as long as we are protected. He doesn't want any more Americans killed on his watch. Do you really think that our President at this time in history cares about a population contest? There is a real enemy out there and people are blinded. Islam plans to make the USA an Islamic country. As for the women, I can tell you - be very worried, very, very worried!

Do you know which Americans support George W. Bush the most?
Our Armed Forces.
If FDR had done to Hitler in 1937, what GWB did to Saddam, that probably would have meant WW 2 would not have occured.
If the current war was not being fought over there, it would be being fought over here.
Thanks to GWB, there has not been another 9-11.
In my opinion those who hate GWB are very short sighted.
Bill Clinton dismantled our military and dismantled the CIA and the FBI.
That's way 9-11 happened in the first place.
Bill Clinton did nothing after the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1995.
Now people want to make his wife Commander in Chief?

He is not hated by Americans. He is a good and nice person. Most people like him, when they meet him. They are unhappy with his policies....however, the far left hate him and so does the liberal leaning, press. They hate him with a passion because they are still in disbelief that they could have lost twice to him. Let History be his judge.
I think he has done a great job considering all that has been thrown at him.....what President ever had the country attacked after being in the office only a few months...or what President had the worse possible calamity happen...like the flood in New Orleans. He got us back on track after the towers went down, and he did everything he could after Katrina...I know...I lost my home...and he was here for us.
There are a few who could find fault..those in that hot super dome....but if you noticed...all those people could have got out on those school buses,,the mayor let sit there.....and some of them chose to stay in thier homes....they have only themselves to blame...you don't stay if a CAT 5 Hurricane is coming down on you....just plain Stupid......but the rest of Louisiana's problems was brought about by their democratic Governor and democratic Mayor..who they re-elected....how stupid was that? Of course, this is not what you heard on the news. Why didn't the Governor let the red cross in to help those people at the Dome? Did you know she kept them out? Of course not.....the press didn't tell you that.

I'm sure he does and feeds upon it. Bush has a delusional messianic complex. The more people hate him, the more convinced he's going to be that he's doing the right thing. He'll do whatever he can to martyr himself.
Alot of people didn't like Jesus when he was preaching. Bush = Jesus in the his own mind.
