We ( speaking for other and I hope I do not offend ) have seen to many individuals throw there life away to a promise of a "new system" and we hope and pray that those who have been indoctrinated in the JW will see some glaring inconsistencies and take heed of some of their own doctrines "Beware false profits whose prophecies will be shown false"

The Watchtower and tract society has continued to contradict itself over the last 100 years and when challenged JW all recite the " when we discover something is wrong we change it" which itself is admirable however that precludes the ability to claim "what we say is the Truth"

It is the overwhelming evidence to the contrary of their teachings and the control they hold on their followers that we causes us to fear not for your souls ( because I do believe that you are being deceived thus you will be welcomed into heaven ) but for your mortal lives, and for those of your children that we grieve.

Isaiah used the word Hebrew word "almah", which means young girl. This was mistranslated into the Greek as parthenos.

OT scholars have been informing Christians that they mistranslated this passage for centuries.

Why are non-Catholics afraid of these titles given to Mary, the Virgin Mother of Jesus? She was the very first Christian and the very first Disciple. She freely said "yes" to God's will and to His Word, when she could have said "No."

Had Mary said "No," Jesus would not have come down from Heaven, and thus our salvation would be in jeopardy. That is a scary thought.

These titles given to Mary are nothing to be afraid of. "For no creature could ever be counted as equal with the Incarnate Word and Redeemer. Just as the priesthood of Christ is shared in various ways both by the ministers and by the faithful, and as the one goodness of God is really communicated in different ways to His creatures, so also the unique mediation of the Redeemer does not exclude but rather gives rise to a manifold cooperation which is but a sharing in this one source." (Second Vatican Council; Chapter 8, Dogmatic Constitution of the Church; November 21, 1964)

A Christian man went to the barber shop to get his hair cut and his beard trimmed. He and the barber were having long conversations about many things. When they got to the subject of God the barber said "I don't believe in God. If there was a God there would be no suffering people out there." The man thought for a minute. He wanted to say something but could not figure out what to say. He decided to keep quiet because he did not want to start a fight. He payed the barber and left. While walking home he was looking around at all the people walking by. He saw a man who had long shaggy hair and an untrimmed beard. He ran back to the barber and said " I dont believe in barbers." Then the barber said "how could you say that, I myself just cut your hair and trimmed your beard." The man then said "If there were such things as barbers there would be no people out there with long shaggy hair and untrimmed beards."

Do people actually meet up and is it worth the money you spend to join?

This is what happened to a multitude of gods and religions that are now taught in schools as mythology courses.

Is this why Christians are so hopped up on converting and saving other religions and non-believers? Is this not so that the soul/spirit of the dead can ascend into heaven, but rather so that the idea of a God can live on?

How do you know if God is real if you haven't seen him? Is the Devil real?

Like. You kinda pushed yourself to go into work because you really did not want to. After you get to work, you make the decision to as little work as possible leading up to not doing any work at all. You job does not involve sitting but you sit down anyway and start to read something or take a nap. Your boss gets your attention and asks why you are behaving this way. You explain to him its nothing personal and you don't dislike the job but you just don't feel like being there today or doing any work at all. You explain to him you are just waiting for time to pass so you can go home.

At your job, what would boss's response be what ?

Ok, here goes. I am 40. I had my first experience with a girl when I was 12. I grew up got pregnant and got married, to a man. I can't stand for him to touch me. I have a what I think is a crush on a woman that I have been friends with for a few years. We had sex and it was great. I just wonder though, there's got to be more to a relationship than sex.

Which do you choose and why?

You should not be judging ANYTHING unless you are a hypocrite..

“Judge not, that ye be not judged” (Matthew 7:1) and “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged, condemn not and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven” (Luke 6:37).

"One of the most basic laws in the universe is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This states that as time goes by, entropy in an environment will increase. Evolution argues differently against a law that is accepted EVERYWHERE BY EVERYONE. Evolution says that we started out simple, and over time became more complex. That just isn't possible: UNLESS there is a giant outside source of energy supplying the Earth with huge amounts of energy. If there were such a source, scientists would certainly know about it."

Come on, this is hilarious.

Since God created Eve by using Adam's rib, Eve was a clone of Adam, meaning she shared the same DNA. This makes them twins - brother and sister.
