How do you know if God is real if you haven't seen him? Is the Devil real?

1 Peter 1:8 You Love him even though you have never seen him: though not seeing him, you trust him: and even now you are happy with the inexprssive JOY that comes from Heaven itself.
1Peter 1:9 And your further reward for trusting him will be the SALVATION of your SOULS. I know for FACT he is REAL! The Change in me is SO GREAT and that is my PROOF! He turned me around into a NEW and Better person. I feel so safe and protected knowing he's always watching! Believe me when i tell you God and His Son Jesus Is REAL!!!!! The devil Blinds people so they can't see the TRUTH.
It is not something to laugh or joke about. take it as serious as you would Life and Death. Life here on earth is very short compared to eternity of Life or Death. Please, don't let hard times in your life or people stop YOU from Spending an Everlasting LIFE with The LORD! The life with him, there will be no evil, So no worries, no tears , no suffering, no hungry or thirst, or pain. It will be SOOOOOO........... GREAT no one can even describe it in words, how Wonderful it will be. God doesn't need us, HE WANTS US to be be Him! His LOVE for us is TRUE! He is LOVE! He's giving everyone a chance to be Saved! It's your choice whether or not to accept the GIFT OF EVERLASTING LIFE WITH HIM! Believe,Trust,and have Faith in the Lord! John 3:36 And ALL who trust Him-God's Son-To save them have enternal life: those who don't believe and obey Him shall NEVER see Heaven, but the WRATH of GOD remains upon them." But there's going to come a time and it's soon when The Lord will be coming back here. Read in Mathew Ch.24, Mark Ch.13, Luke Ch.12:35-59, Luke Ch.21:5-38. they tell about the return of Christ and Future events. So, please listen, i'm trying to help and point you to the right path.

I know there is a God because I choose to believe it. As far as knowing he is real without seeing him... I see him everywhere I look. I see God in everything he has created, I see God when I look in the innocent newborn eyes of my new niece. I see God in the friends who reached out to me when my family was going through hard times a few years ago. The God I believe in is all around me.
As far as the devil is concerned... yes I do think that he is real also.... the Bible says it, I believe it.

my sister~ you can hear the the wind but you cant see it...you cant see 'heat' but you feel it. You cant taste the air but you know you need it...I could go on but you get the point hopefully. Believers know God is real because we experience Him in every sensory way...feeling HIm, hearing Him...even tasting Him..lol..as the BIble says "taste and see that the Lord is good", because He is the Bread of Life.
There are many things that people who dont believe there is a God use to support it..but if we break it down to the root...no man..no man, can explain how the spark of life..enters a body. They can explain the process of egg to embryo to infant..but they cannot tell you how that heart begins to beat..and life comes into what the BIble describes our bodies as...'clay'. It is the awesomeness of His creation, and man's inability to DUPLICATE it..that should reassure all..there IS a GOD. Because in the arrogance of man, if he could simulate it..he would..but he cant.
and yes...the devil is real.

I know that God exists because of His holy word. Also, all I have to do is look around me and see His beautiful creation. None of the wonderful things of nature came about accidentally but are the result of the careful and marvelous planning of our Creator. I see Him every day.
The Devil is very real because we can also see him in the world's chaos, hate, and sins that are committed everywhere and every day.

truthfully!!! It became some thing greater formal, yet I used to speak to Him despite the reason and because I stored forward to my own ambition and desires, whilst He gave me avertisements I saved none and did my way going into further and extra trubles! Into an end, interior a deep depresion, He saved my life (!!!) the very 2nd I left away of all my deep desires... There, empty heart, i became packed with God's easy and Peace and Love - an entire New life, a sparkling physique, a sparkling imaginative and prescient over the final and the destiny :) :) :) definite, he's my Saviour!!!

You know there is a god because of our everyday life. i for one have a three year old who was born 3 months early and the doctors said would not live but here she is 3 going to be 4 in feb.

No one knows that God is real. Many are convinced, myself included. I do not have to prove or justify this to anyone. And I certainly have more respect for someone who doesn't believe at all than someone who does so blindly.
The Devil is not real. No need for him.
I like to Cherry-pick.
Edit: So, Gatita, your evidence for God is that "God says so in the bible which is true because God says so in the bible." Nice.

I read it in the Bible, which is real and true because the Bible told me that the Bible is real and true. And also that snakes talk, a man can walk on water, and it's perfectly okay to burn your daughter alive as a sacrifice to our loving God.

I don't "know" there is a God. I choose to believe through faith that there is a God. I feel inside of me there is a God because of all the things he has done in my life. Yes, the devil is real. Can't you see his works all around us and working through evil people. "D" EVIL.
