None other then Jesus said so.

"It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB) Very clear... the OT will be binding FOREVER.

Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children according to Old Testament law. Mark.7:9-13 "Whoever curses father or mother shall die" (Mark 7:10)

I went in to their office and I have to do this everyday because the fax is in there I said "helloooo" in a friendly tone and one of them just mimicked my voice and even though I felt belittled I just smiled at him but what can I say or what attitude should I habe towards this type of behaviour. I work in an environment where everyone mocks each other. I have no intention of leaving because i find the work really interesting but i need tips to survive that environment so any advice is more than welcomed!

Hey, Ramadan Mubarak! I'm 15 years old and underweight-96 lbs. When i wake up for sehri, i eat but it is very hard for me in the day. I feel like throwing up(even tho i didnt eat much) my jaw hurts like hell, and dizzyness and I can't move around so i pretty much lie in bed. When i eat iftari i just weigh 90 lbs. which is a 6 lb. difference. What should I do to minimize the effects? Thanks

I had some people in my life even myself can be so critical of things and I prayed that I can changed into a humble person and lighthearted. My heart had been wounded and hurt and still heaing and processing of being joy , love, etc. I am trying to get things resolved and forgiven them .. I got into an argument with a friend (yes, I know it's stupid) about whether the spells are in Harry Potter were real spells or not. It was part of a "HP is evil" debate. I say they are just the Latin roots of the original words, so I was wondering if Wiccan spells use Latin? Because then, in a way, we'd both be right.

What the hell?!?!?! DO I look a freakin cat? Not only am I not a cat, my name definately is not "Ay Girl". Dammit, I'm a woman! Why do they think that a decent female will even find those advances remotely attractive?

Or then the other losers that want to stare at you through the window when you are at a red light like you're driving a freakin ice cream truck? Or the dorks that will see you walk past, stop, then turn their head all the way around like a freakin exorcism. They wonder why you won't give them the time of day, and then call you a snob because you ignore them.

...the elevator finally arrives, I go on first and press the button for the floor. It's apparent the other two people want to go to the same floor because the look at the highlighted button, pause as if they are in deep thought, then they each press the same exact button for the same exact floor. It's bad enough that one person pressed it after me, but then the last dummy goes ahead and presses it a third time?!?!?! Why??

I don't feel like I can trust either the Christian or Jew apologist because I know one of them is wrong but they both have good points. This means I must do all research on my own.
I must learn the Hebrew languange including culture etc., Jewish history, the history of the world from at least 500 years before and after Jesus, may as well through in Greek and Arabic language, become a Biblical scholar etc. This is impossible in one life time!
Second option is to pray to God. Only problem is most of the world prays to God and most of the world does not know truth about God because everyone can't be right.
Genuine desire to know truth doesn't even help much because I think that most Jews and Christians do want to know truth but they have come to different conclusions.
Can we really know truth????

Bday boy invited 2 group of people that he knows.

Ordered a bunch of drinks and food.
The bill came out to be really fat. One of the group just sit there and didn't even offer to pitch in some cash.

Bday boy got pissed so he took the tab by himself.

evicted due to unpaid lgts & gas bills. A lot of people don't like her because she beg. Exp: free bus ride by ask the driver, want rides from people without having gas money,one of neighbor got mad at her she told me she was on the phone for hrs at her place, she even ask me did I cook anything for dinner,do I have any change,going to the rental office making copies, microwave. The mgr put a stop to it. Some of it I observe myself. A lot of the neighbors told me. She don't go to nobody bldg unless she want something. I had a feeling she is using people & me. 2 wks ago she visit me but later she ask me can I help her carry her clothes to the laundry (walk 3 blks up the hill). I told her I couldn't do it. I had a infant child 4mths even though his dad was over he had to go back to work. He don't like her & told me she like to use the Bible to manipulate.
She was fill out job ap. yester.. & gave me 2 to fill out. I'm about to job search. Is it wrong
for me to not deal c her no more?

Notice I narrowed it to the MILITANT Atheists, the ones that try and force others to believe as they do and belittle others who think different than them. The ones that try and remove all religious items from public.

Do you still take religious holidays off like Christmas? Do you give/receive gifts at that time? Do you do Christmas for your kids or do you tell them life is tough and to get over it because Christmas is a made up thing for a made up God?

Or do you refuse to take the time off and refuse any gifts?

If not, doesn't that make you a hypocrite?

I don't take Hanukkah off nor do I take any other religious holidays off and I would politely turn down any gifts offered for those holidays.

I seem to have a problem staring at people, it just happens that my gaze happens to be particularly unsettling from what I'm told, along the lines of sharp, icy, piercing, intense, etc. I don't want to make people uncomfortable, or to intimidate anyone but, it seems to happen regardless. Is there anything i can do beyond not looking at people...?
