Housewarming? Do you mean apartment warming? Never heard of that, but how nice you want to give them something.
Do something for the apartment, a cute cookie jar, a chip and dip plate, a salad set, a big Xmas or Thanksgiving platter, a cookbook, a clock, or just something pretty to set out, a piece of glass or crystal. Some nice candles, a pretty clock. wine glassess.

Most women love scented candles. Maybe a variety basket of candles and some wine.

Plants, decorative candle sets, a gift basket with snacks (cookies, crackers, cheese, ...), a bottle of wine.

a potted plant is always something great, or a wine rack if they drink wine. Think about what they like, and then find something homey that will fit with that.

-espresso machine
-a nice painting from a local artist
-a nice portrait of scenery both may enjoy
-an Edible arrangment (I am not trying to advertise for them, but they make REALLY good stuff!!!)
