The best thing you could do is find a non denominational church in your area and go talk to the pastor. I find that talking to someone w/ wisdom in this area is better than looking on the internet.

Basically, you need to want to change, you need to confess your sins and believe Jesus Christ is the son of God. You need to accept Jesus into your heart and ask Him to cleanse you of all iniquity. Know that Jesus loves you and showed us that when he died on the cross for our sins. He rose the 3rd day and is alive today working in your (and my) life. You need to live your life in accordance with Jesus teachings and commandments of love God with all your being and love others as yourself. Get yourself a New International Version (NIV) bible or New Living Translation (NLT) bible and read about Jesus life and teachings in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Welcome to the family of God, danni. You have made the right choice. We will spend eternity in heaven rejoicing together. But, like I said earlier, Find a good church and a pastor you can talk to.

You don't really need a website to become Christian. You need to confess out loud that you accept the lord Jesus Christ as your savior and you believe that he died for our sins and rose after three days. Upon confessing this statement you are now what is called saved and Christian. It is not something which you must say in front of a crowd either. Just confessing it in front of the eyes of God is enough. It is then advised that you find a good bible based church.

If Church is an issue there are a few television programs which are good.

Hello, Danni:

You are making a wise choice with rewards here and eternally.

Let me recommend a site that will dispel many fables in Christianity and reorient you to the primitive faith and plan to save you and this planet.

You must be able to do elementary school mathematics because a code will also prove Jesus is the Messiah--that builds faith.

Also, the information there should start your prayerful search for a church that teaches the truth.

Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua

P.S.: After reading that book, contact me by e-mail if you have any questions.

Well, I don't know any websites, however I know a few good books you might want to check out.
The first is and you guessed it the "Bible".
The second is "The Case for Jesus" by Lee Strobel
The third is "The Case for a Creator" Ibid (means as above) Lee Strobel
He was an atheist journalist who had set out to disprove the existence of Jesus and God and ended up becoming a Christian himself. These books show his walk in investigating their existence.

Since I don't know where you are I gave you a really good American one and one nice Canadian one , the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. Don't let the evangelical part throw you off . ELIC are more middle of the road than right wing fundamentalists.

The Hour of Power is world famous for it's positive thinking and life empowering doctrine and is a televised church as well as having other churches around the world. Perhaps you've heard of it , the Crystal Cathedral?

Repeat these words...
Lord I come before You now confessing that I am a sinner. Lord I repent of my sins this day. I believe that You died on the Cross for my sins. I believe that You rose again. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life, for the rest of my life...In Jesus name, amen.

You say that and you are SAVED my friend! Now you just need to find a good local church where you can begin to hear the Word and receive instruction from a pastor/teacher who is led by God. On your own, read your Bible and ask God (before reading) to open up the passages to you, that you might spiritually discern what He is trying to teach you.

My husband and I will be praying for your growth in Christ....

Acts 16:30-31
“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved...”

Romans 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Stay away from centralized religious sects and cults. Many are listed above and below my post. Stay with the non-denominational groups that point you to the Bible and the cross. Too many sects and cults will add on works and traditions which will put you in bondage. When in doubt, just read John 3 and ask Jesus in as Lord and Savior. You don't need a church for that. Billy Graham's site is the best choice.

There are many websites, but if you are truly serious, you need to go to a local church and talk to the pastor. You must gather together with other believers in real life, not online.
