Where in their religion does it say to ignore the advice of other people? Where in their religion does it say that they do not have to eat food, or drink water, or breath air to survive? Medical science exists to ease suffering. God may say that he will provide, and he does provide the rain to fall and the sun to shine, but we, as people still have to harvest the crops and cook the food.

Faith can heal, but people still need to "harvest the crop of knowledge" and see a doctor when needed. Otherwise they are letting the crop of "healing" sit and rot in the field of their faith.

How is that even a debate? Of COURSE parents harm their children if they refuse medical treatment!

Certain diseases HAVE to be treated, or else the results are great pain (or even death) for whoever is inflicted with them. For example, cancer, diabetes, hemophilia, pneumonia (if left untreated)... And what if their child has a broken bone?

It should be considered child abuse.
