I'm grateful for having God in my life and all the wonders He created. I'm grateful for my husband of 15 years, two children and grandchildren, my cat Sable, and the Lord for keeping my brain cancer manageable. I'm grateful for the sunrise and sunset, the rain and the breeze. I'm grateful for clean water to drink, a roof over my head and food in the pantry.

The Bible states that it is the kindness of the Lord that brings us to repentance.

A truly thankful heart will give oppurtunity for God to reveal himself to you.

Here are a few things you can try.
1)Hold your breath as long as you can. Then take a big breath of air - You will be thankful for the air you breathe.
2) Close your eyes and take 100 steps. You will be thankful for your sight.
3) Go without eating for 24 hours. You will be thankful for food.

Hey, Thank you for taking time to read this. Are you thankful?

Hi,

Kirlian Photography claimes that auras are real and everything has an aura.
People say that auras are expansions of spirits.

We think that a spirit is something which gives life with its unification with matter.
If we are in an egg of aura, everything which touches our aura -becomes one with it- should become alive because aura is the expansion of the life source -spirit-.
But nothing happens like that.

If we say aura which is the expansion of spirit is in everything -even in the non-living beings-, we say spirit is not the thing which makes us alive.
In this case, Kirlian Photography disproves the spirits.

If we say auras and spirits are not related, in this case we say Kirlian Photography does not prove spirits.

PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER WITH LINKS.

Thanks.

Should God exist, what awaits me after death?

I only believe in what can be proven. All scientific evidence turns towards the Bible (or any religious books) being constituted mostly of tales and myths, with few historical facts, thus I only follow moral rules I have analysed myself (ex: I'm against the death penalty, but I am pro-choice).

Yet, science has it's limit and I've decided not to rule out God's existence completely yet.

If I die tomorrow, what should I expect?

The Noahide laws could be a good base for unity between Monotheistic Judaism and Monotheistic Islam in the future.

Rev 2:17
17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

Why is it in Genesis, God refers to himself in the plural :
"Genesis 1:26; And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea"

Have you been to Jesus to get your fix today?

Myself being a former drug addict, lust addict, $ addict, alcoholic, and all out going after anything that this world had to offer to please my flesh.
I know that I will never experience anything that compares to the presence of God. I'm hooked. Are you?

Might I suggest that you take some time to get alone with Jesus and let Him minister to your heart today? There truly is nothing that compares.

Isn't a tip supposed to be for exceptional work? It bugs me that resteraunts now put the tip on the bill or expect you to tip 15% even if your waiter/waitress didn't do anything great. I would rather pay more for my meal so that the waiters and waitresses get paid more so they don't have to depend on tips. In my opinion, tipping is just getting out of hand. Workers should get a good wage and you should just pay for whatever your are buying. IF the worker did something fantastic, then it's your choice to give an extra tip to them to say "hey, great work! you were exceptional."

But why should I tip them for just doing their job? (by the way, I do tip because I understand employees don't get paid enough and depend on the tips, but I think that whole concept needs to change).
