I understand the whole power strugle in the past with religions wanting to rule over everyone when people were really stupid and didnt know science that well. so how come now that people are some what less stupid, there are people out there still trying to force religion onto other cultures as a whole or goingfrom person to person (house to house) why cant you all just back off and let people decide on there own if they want to believe in your religion and your version of god or nothing at all?

How could a Benevolent God banish these people to hell? Their only crime is that they are isolated and have never had the chance to accept the Christian God or Jesus.

God gives people NO scientific evidence which religion is true, yet alone if he even exists, yet people are supposed to believe in the correct VERSION of God and if they don't, it doesn't matter how good of a person you are, you will burn in Hell FOREVER when you die along with rapists and mass murderers.
Is this perfectly fair?

Did Jesus fulfill the prophecy?
Yes! only if he was alive after the so called crucifixion.
The pophecy itself necessitates an alive Jesus otherwise no similarity with the miracle of Jonah.

Shouldn't we be sticking together? There are some real bad guys out there and we won't defeat them by falling out with each other. I get really tired of seeing questions slagging off the US and equally tired of seeing pathetic anti UK comments of the 'if it wasn't for us you'd be speaking German' mentality. The UK stood alone and bankrupted itself in WWII before the US joined, but thank goodness they did join in in the end, if they hadn't it would have been more likely that the whole of continental Europe would have been speaking Russian not German. Both countries have a lot to be proud of, both have contributed vastly to the modern democratic western world, and both should stand together to defeat the cowardly scum that are threatening our peace and security now.

Atheism is not genocidal or violent.
Yes, Stalin was an atheist and he killed a lot of people. However, since he killed people because he was a totalitarian, paranoid asshat, not because of atheism. He didn't kill people in the name of atheism.
Whereas the Crusades were done in the name of Christianity, meaning that the blood is on Christianity's hands.
Christians murder people and atheists give to charity. Religion isn't as big a factor as people think it is.
