have you ever questioned the religious text you follow?
who wrote it? why they wrote it? what was the mental state of the person that wrote it? for the purpose of this question i'm not going to deny the existance of god, what i'm questioning(or wanting you to question) is the validity of the text on which a lot of your faith is based, i perticulaly would like to hear from the few folk that think whatever religious text they follow is infallible. since you base how you live your lives on these books i was wondering, have you questioned them or did you just get told it was true so believe them without reservation?

If Jesus was resurrected, then doesn't that mean he didn't really die? If he didn't die then he couldn't really have died for anyones sins - it wouldn't count would it?

and wouldn't a resurrection just cheapen the idea of martyrdom, cheapen the idea of self-sacrifice for the greater good?

The recent book by Richard Dawkins which may be called 'the great apologetic book for atheists'; could it not be a timely jolt to shake Christians in particular, to challenge their beliefs out of apathy or complacency or over- exagerated zeal and superstitions, without loosing their basic faith in God and Gospel values? Surely Dawkins' is not the last word even as articulate as much as he is.

Too many people reject the truth as a fiction , If I mention that some body already created hybrid to replace human in the future ,not many people will believe me , and if I connect the dots in history and came up with theory ,also no body will believe ,but most human information which they believe in ,in reality 95% fiction.

I,ve seen people try on countless occasions try to be upgraded on planes nearly always using some clearly, false posh voice leaving us all around cringing with embrassment, mostly they are not upgraded and then can become quite rude. When they are upgraded they act as though they,ve just found out they are related to the Queen.
And from another angle how about you guys who have paid the extra cash or your company has,to travel in a bit more style when someone comes though from ecomony class and sits next to you and is unable to get over the fact that the knife and fork is made from metal.

My apartment complex is several blocks down from a grocery store and my neighbors have been bringing home their groceries and then leaving the carts in the complex.

There's one lady in particular that I think uses them to cart her laundry around and after she's done, she leaves it right by the elevator (which happens to face my living room window). There are currently two upstairs by the elevator and one under the stairwell on the 1st floor. The other night I went and pushed the cart in front of her door and left a note asking her not to do it anymore and mentioned how trashy it makes the complex look. No dice, the next morning it was back by the elevator.

The next day, I called the office to complain about the lady and see if they could remove the carts. The manager said OK but now it's 3 days later and all the carts are still there! What do I do?

I do the best I can and I believe that is good enough... Most of the time, I recognise that I can't be perfect, and that is why Jesus died for me... He makes up the difference.

But why is it that when I remember that my friends (or other people) are suffering... why does that make me feel nauseous? Why do I sit with my family, feel so grateful for the love I have... then feel sick that my friends don't have the same happiness?

Why is it that sometimes I feel sick when I see TINY little imperfections (like, I scratch my head, because my daughter has given me head-lice). I've done so much good... why do I feel WRONG when I've done all that I can do... and I really can't do any more than that?

It's almost as if I feel remorseful for not having divine power to make all things right in the world. I'm only human!

Is it hormonal, or is it spiritual? What is wrong with me, to feel this way? Do you feel like this sometimes, too?

Bide the Wiccan laws ye must
in Perfect Love and Perfect Trust

Live and let live
Freely take and freely give

Cast the circle thrice about
To keep all evil spirits out

To bind the spell every time
Let the spell be spake in rhyme

Soft of eye and light of touch
Speak little, listen much

Deosil go by the waxing moon
Sing and dance the Wiccan rune

Widdershins go when the moon doth wane
And the werewolf howls by the dread wolfsbane

When the Lady's moon is new
Kiss thy hand to her times two

When the moon rides at her peak
Then your heart's desire seek

Heed the northwind's mighty gale
Lock the door and drop the sail

When the wind comes from the south
Love will kiss thee on the mouth

When the wind blows from the east
Expect the new and set the feast

When the west wind blows o'er thee
Departed spirits restless be

Nine woods in the cauldron go
Burn them fast and burn them slow

Elder be ye Lady's tree
Burn it not or cursed ye'll be

When the wheel begins to turn
Let the Beltain fires

Take interest in Optimus Prime, defender of earth from the evil Megatron who's greatest trick was to convince the general population that he does not exist, thereby making any argument against his existence null and void. Pick up the King Hasbro edition of Transformian Schematics to find how you can make your pitiful life more tolerable. We don't mind the gays, either.

I understand there are people who deny evolution. In the same way, do these people deny the major findings of Geology, Astronomy and Physics too? After all, like all the sciences, they are inextricably linked.
Scientists spend their lives in the study of genetics only to have vast swathes of the population tell them everything they have discovered is rubbish. I heard on the news recently that a judge wants everyone in the UK to have their DNA profile on a database. I presume the evolution deniers will refuse on the grounds that DNA doesn’t exist??!!
My question was "How can you deny Science If you've taken time to understand it?" By this I mean, those who deny the findings of biologists are doing so blindly, having clearly not taken the time to learn and understand.
