1. I'm trying to say that 'They built magnificent monuments that measured thirty feet tall and one hundred feet across'...
So far, I have 'construyeron monumentos magnificos que midieon treinta....how would you say the rest?...Do you use 'pies' for feet in this case?

2. To say '...this time period (500-1300) was called....' Would you say fue llamado or era llamado? Preterite or imperfect?

3. Is there a word for 'mitochondria' (in a cell) in spanish? Lol
I can't find it in the dictionary

4. How would you say 30,000 years ago? Treinta mil años....ago?

5. How do I translate 98.6 degrees fahrenheit into spanish? Noventa y ocho....point 6...grados F...? help?

it seems to me like americans who are supposed to be the greatest people in the world are being pretty narrow minded aboutt he issue.....

of course it would be wrong to say that all americans or even most, are stupid and narrow minded...

but so many americans think that...america is only for them, that...america is a monolingual country

it was even on the news, said by some senator or someone

"america is becoming bilingual and thats not good"

wtf, whats wrong with speaking two or three or even twenty languages....what's wrong with other cultures? what's wrong with immigration?

i know that many illegal immigrants commit crimes but, besides them, what's wrong with the other immigrants who...
don't commit violent crimes like...

driving with out a drivers license (because they can't apply for one)

working with out papers (since they don't have any)

and not paying taxes (i know plenty of americans who don't)...hmmm anyone paid under the table...restaurants etc...

But because this life is so detestable it is hard to seek the right thing. How to know which food is right to like, how to know which people are right to be friend's with. Life is detestable! But how do you overcome this, How do you live it? Only 1 way, But I don't want to answer, sincce I already have a answer. I want you all to answer.

seems rather funny that the Amish are able to forgive a Man who shot their daughters and killed himself but can't forgive the ones who leave their belief because they have found that those works (man made laws) will not save them and decided to put their faith in Jesus instead of good works!!!!!

Allah has assured the victory of Islam by expropriating and usurping the land of the infidels and hand them over to the Muslims (verses 13:41, 21:44, 28:58)
such as 2:30, 6:165, 7:129, 27:62) which firmly declare that only the Muslims are the rightful inheritors of earth.

In a Christian view.
Do you think hell to be the traditional fiery hell? Do you think pain is inflicted for eternity?

Or could the way the Bible describes hell be just the grave. Hades is translated into "the grave", I believe. What if hell is just nothing. Complete absence of God. An idle state of nothing for eternity. Complete absence from God would be hell enough, for me.

That the saying "you never know in life is true" or that anything is possible or the impossible can become possible, like hitting the lottery, seing a friend far away on a vacation you haven't seen since ages ago, or that NYC can heave a big earthquake or me becoming famous, I mean those are rare statements, but can it be impossible

I don't understand if you are suppose to eat with the kind of chopsticks they give you at restaurants like Miyabi; the pretty coloured ones with pictures usually of geishas at the top. Or are they for hair or decoration?
I don't believe I've ever seen anyone eating with them...
