I have her book "Mythology". I've been hooked on mythology since I was knee-high, it's important because it's the history mankind's imagination. It is all around us - above us and below us, in all the arts and sciences - and it's nice to know where all the references come from!

Mythology used to be a direct connection to the rest of the society and our own unconscious minds. I'm not really sure what this answer has to do with Edith Hamilton, because I have not yet heard of her. But now I shall go and find out.

Generation! Edith Hamilton wrote "Mythology--Timeless tales of Gods and Heroes" in 1940. That's nearly two and a half generations ago.

I guess the book proves its own worth in the fact it is still coming out in new printings.

You're only cheating yourself out of learning... which is essential to surviving life without having a mental breakdown. It's better to be responsible for your own work or that's just one more lie you'll have to deal with if you get caught. Good Luck!
