I was journaling and my upperback and neck and lower back got very warm like someone put a heating pad on my back it was almost like I was getting a hug from God. Does the Holy Spirit administer heat in the body when a person is hurting or sad? Because I do feel better. Please no sacrastic answers thank you and God bless you.

out of ignorance, and pride, I have offended so many people in the whole world, with several of the answers that I foolishly answered on here without regards to Gods word. I speak before I think, and that is just dead wrong. I don't deserve anyones forgiveness, but I hope that all of you on here and any and everyone in the world that i have offended may see it in your heart to forgive me, it is not my position to judge anyone anywhere, for I'm no better than anyone else in this world, I'm sorry for my ignorance and actions of offensiveness, also in the course of this letter I'm asking God almighty for forgiveness. all of the brothers and sisters in Christ, pray for me as I need your prayers and Gods love and forgiveness. to sinners and unbelievers, I ask that you please understand I'm no better than you and ask that you please forgive me for the things that I have said to you that where hurtful. I am asking this of my own accord not because of any actions against me from yahoo answers

...Welsh and English people? (I'm looking for slang terms here, such as 'Jimmy' and 'Paddy', not the proper terms.)

And please also tell if the terms are derogatory or not. (I don't care, I'm just trying to educate myself about a few cultural and language differences).

In United States, English may be referred to with these slangs: John Bull; blue-blood or blue-blooded. These slangs are usually never used in derogatory or unflattering fashion, and are often used as terms of endearment. On the few occasions that I have heard them used in a derogatory manner, there has been little or no sting in them.

Same thig goes for the U.S. slangs for Irish--all I can think of right now is 'Mick' and the less popular 'Paddy'.

I can't think of a U.S. slang for Scots.

Thanks.

Before you start blowing up on me I just want you to know that I'M NOT BASHING!!!!

This is really a serious question cuz I keep hearing about this all over the internet (e.g. like that BattleCry thing everyone's been talking about)

I just want to know just how true (or false) this notion is.

Additional question.

If it IS true, then can anyone tell me what are their thoughts on the following things.

Note: the links are examples of the mentioned items.

1. Comic Books

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC_Comics

2. Video and Online Games

4. Fantasy Novels

All four of these are also a part of popular culture, are they against these things as well?

a couple weeks ago, i was out buying some chickpeas at an arab store. i found some mango drink, and decided to buy it. it was expired, and i got sick off of it. so i blew the whistle on him, and his store shut down, and he's living with us, because he wants to repay us, and because i ruined his business. now its getting real bad. he cooks for us every day, and stinks up the house, and all the food he makes is really spicy, and the kids cant eat it, since one of my kids is a tv addict. and he always plays this annoying oboe like instrument. and he also pulled the chair on my father while he was visiting, and sings this annoying song played on some instrument called the ood. like the song is "who need the avenue market" then he goes on the roof and cries, and the kids are always afraid when he does that. the only way to get rid of him is to travel to qatar, and help him get his store back by the first owner of this chain

First off, Moses lived around 3,000 B.C. so of COURSE the records for that time period are going to be spotty at best.

People say why isn't there a record for all the plagues that visited Egypt and a record of Jews being held as slaves in Egypt and the first born sons being killed?

Egypt did not like recording stuff that made it look bad and many of the records were written on clay tablets that did not last.

When you consider all these facts and the fact that Moses lived around 3,000 B.C. (just look it up it's only 500 years after writing was invented and hundreds of miles away from where writing originated) it's no suprise that we do not have complete records, but we do have the most important record of all.

We have the Bible.

Agree?

This new discovery confirms that honey was indeed cultivated in the region 3000 years ago:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070905/ap_on_sc/ancient_honey

From a Biblical perspective, this means that the region was the 'land of milk and honey', because those who were there prior to the Hebrew had made it that way, not because God had made it that way.

The question is, from a Biblical perspective, now that we know the people who live in that land prior to the Hebrews had cultivated it and improved upon it with their own sweat, does that not make the purported genocides within the Bible by the Hebrews against these people that much more immoral?

do not just say myth or something like that. Scholars don't disagree he existed, but many refuse to believe he rose from the dead.

i'm asking for meaningful discussion. the resurrection is the only central point about Jesus that if not true, destroys christianity totally. Nothing Jesus said matters if he is still in the grave

first of all, this argument supports an ANTHROPOMORPHIC interpretation of God, not the kind atheists mock, white beard, white robe and all.

According to the law of thermodynamics, a spontaneous reaction in a closed space would increase the amount of entropy in that space. From this, we can imply that the amount of energy AVAILABLE TO DO WORK, is decreased due to increase in thermal energy. Therefore, the beginning of the universe had to have been at a definite time and place. that's not it, dont start yelling yet. As we all know, molecules react in a way that allows them to reach homeostasis. From that we can imply that the big bang occured because the molecules (actually, matter would be a more accurate discription) seeked homeostasis. But what caused the matter to be in such an unstable state in the first place?please, i just thought of this, i know its not perfect, I just want your imput. Please no sarcasm, I am a free thinker and if you have enough logic, I will believe you.TY

I've started to noticed little nuiances that are present in men from all social classes. On the "Real World" , Dunbar has really been dumping on Parisa..it reminds me of what my cousin's boyfriends have done to her. Comments like..."There are way hotter girls out there than you"..or "I called you because I am bored an horny". Its like they don't even see you as a real person. You are a sex object or their dumping ground..if you allow it. Why does this behavoir occur and why do they think its ok?
