We have more historical eye-witness accounts of the Resurrection of Christ than we do for the existence of Napoleon.
You either believe what these people saw, wrote down, and then DIED for, or you don't.
If you need more proof, read Foxe's book of Martyrs.

Nothing Jesus said matters if he is still in the grave????
WHAAAAT??? So, taking this into consideration, were his disciples and Mary Magdalene and other followers, were they all fools for believing in him before he was slain???
Jesus' Cause lives on REGARDLESS of whether he physically resurrected or not. Do you require such miracles from God in order to believe that Jesus was the Messiah? Is your faith in Jesus based upon whether or not God "passes your test?" Do not test your God, my friend. Miracles can be explained away, and many times have been attributed to the occult. Remember when Moses' staff turned into a serpent? Pharaoh chalked it all up to magic. He saw a miracle and still disbelieved
It is Jesus' LIFE, his TEACHINGS that count, don't you see that? Or are you just looking for human tricks? It is irrelevant whether he resurrected or not, because it's his TEACHINGS that live on.
Never test God. OUR tests are stupid little piddly meaningless $hit things, and how we ever test God, or require a miracle in order to believe in a Messiah.
Like I said, it matters not whether Jesus survivied the grave or not. His Cause, based upon his teachings, lives on.
Since you did ask, I will give my personal answer. I don't believe Jesus was physically resurrected, I believe he died on the cross, was buried, and that his soul is in heaven with God. Jesus and God are not the same being, they are separate. But like I said, that part doesn't matter. "Jesus Lives" = his CAUSE, not his body.

With all due respect, many scholars question the existence of Christ (by any name).
Actually, saying its a myth is a valid point, since scholars and historians don't have any evidence to support any of the events surrounding his life. There are no records of King Herod killing first born sons. No scholar of his day wrote not so much as a single word about him (and considering the vast social changes ascribed to him, this is surprising).
The gospels weren't written during Christ's lifetime. The earliest was written 30 years after the supposed 'crucifixion'; the latest 70 years after. Lifespans were around 35 years at the time, so there is no way these were 'eyewitness accounts'.
The earliest non-biblical mentions of Christ were written by a man born 2 years after the crucifixion story was supposed to have taken place. There is also much conjecture as to whether or not this mention wasn't inserted by church leaders years after the original was written.
The Romans were notoriously meticulous in their record keeping, yet they have no records of this man's birth, or execution orders. Again, given the societal upheaval of Christ's existence and teachings, this is more than a little surprising. The writings that people believe were penned by Pilate, were actually taken from a fictional book printed in the 1920's.
Without evidence to even support his existence, the rest of the tale is just conjecture.

Jesus was only referred to as a bastard in the muslim faith, christians believe he had a father.
But to the question about resurrection.
I have never seen or heard of anyone rising from the dead after clearly being killed, and pronounced dead.
Because I have never been given any scientific documented proof of this ever happening anywhere else in time. I have chosen to not believe in the resurrection.
But I also don't believe in god/gods or any other supernatural deities.

yes. Horus/ Ra, mythical paganistic gods were Sun gods. Pagans, thru personification of those gods, instilled attributes of their Gods to the nature happening around them.
So, Horus being the sun god, lowers in the sky until it reaches a point, during the winter solstice, where it seems to rest for 3 days the start returning north in the sky, bringing new life(sping) to the earth.
In essence, The Sun God lowers in the sky to a point where a cross is represented by the constellations. The God lowers on the cross, then rests for 3 days, and then resurrects.
Paganism and its transformation to Monotheism, lead to further personification of the God. This God is Jesus and since Jesus, the person, cannot die on a constellational cross, he must die on a wooden cross.

Dolores - I don't think this question is "testing" God, but rather debating a question which would confirm or deny the love of God in sending His One and Only Begotten Son to save mankind into eternal life.

Jesus (pbuh) is not referred to as a bastard in the muslim faith. Jesus (pbuh) is great Prophet of Islam and without believing Him (pbuh) and His (pbuh) miraculous birth, Muslim cannot go to heaven.

If Jesus did not raise from the grave then my religion would indeed be in vain. But I had a vision of Jesus and seen him with my own eyes. Believe me he is risen from the dead!
