I was journaling and my upperback and neck and lower back got very warm like someone put a heating pad on my back it was almost like I was getting a hug from God. Does the Holy Spirit administer heat in the body when a person is hurting or sad? Because I do feel better. Please no sacrastic answers thank you and God bless you.

That is usually a sign that the Holy Spirit is healing something in you.

I've heard a lot of people say that they had that type of experience with the Holy Spirit esp. during healing. I used to feel the presence of God so sttrongly when I was a new Christian and at times it would feel as if electricity was flowing through my hands and up and down my arms. I'm not sure why it stopped. I wish I could still have those experiences. God bless!!!

The holy spirit works in different ways I think. I've heard of people being healed and feeling a heat going through their body. if you think it was the holy spirit it probably was, and you should just Thank God, receive your blessing and share your testimony with others.

Many times in college I would join my friends in a prayer circle. They knew I liked to pray with open hands - but there were times when we would join hands.
Each time - the friends who held my hands would comment about how they would become burning hot as we prayed.
I have had many different experiences.
When we are deeply vulnerable - there are times God knows we need a manifestation of His spirit. The hard times when we learn to trust Him completely without benefit of His tender touch are the times when we can please Him most - for He knows our faith will not be shaken... so as we grow in Him, it is common to find such manifestations to become more rare. It is God's ultimate desire that we trust and rely on Him in Faith - and not because of feelings... since the devil can so easily sway feelings.
It also makes such future manifestations all the more rare and precious when they return.

I'm not sure. but, I don't see why it's a problem. Just as long as you don't start using this as a means of trying to predict the second coming, or for betting on race horses.
God will speak to you in ways that gets your attention. For the longest time he was getting me to look at the clock at a specific time each day. I had to go and do some serious praying to understand why!!??
When I finally figured it out, it all made sense.

I believe that God can and does communicate this way from time to time with His children. God gave you a hug, that is truly awesome. I believe that God will do exactly what the person needs at any given time, and to me it sounds like you needed that "special warm touch" from our great and awesome God.

Every body has bioplasmic energy feild around it. If urs is low some one willing to give it to u have done it. Even u can learn to do this to others in healing. Join Pranic Healing. Brain tumors and cancers have been cured . By the way these energies can be captured by Kirlian Photography and GDV.

It is possible, but I can't say yes or no with any certainty. There might also be a biological explanation as well.
It's more important what you believe, I think, than what I do. If God is in your life, who am I to discourage you?

God works in mysterious ways.
And, yes, the Holy Spirit DOES minister to our needs. How that happens for you may or may not be the same as how for me.
