Yes. When you cannot accept what is, you can't change it. All you can do is feel frustrated by it.

To me, the idea of setting up "I can't be happy until . . ." sort of requirements is committing yourself to unhappiness. It is a major folly. Say "I will be even happier when . . ." That way you don't torpedo yourself.

Happiness is within, we have an endless storehouse full with plenty to share with others, thus we can provide it..

From the Stance of the Observer, we become dispassionate, with this absence of passion we unleash the Mind and we thus become free...this awareness of freedom brings with it a profound wisdom and it is with wisdom and mindfulness employing morality that we can thus be wise enough to know where such happiness can be provided...

The Observer's Stance is a stance of Self lessness...with practise there is an absence of Self...without the Self there is no Selfishness and without Selfishness there is no corresponding suffering because we do not then "pick up" the feelings associated with experiences, we only note their arising and waning within the consciousness without yearning or regret...

Happiness is the knowledge of this freedom to release the Self..to become thus Self less...to maintain this stance...the Observer Stance is the stance we thus take to become Selfless..freeing the Mind...unleashing the true Us...

Thus do we become Unfettered by delusions of the Self, delusions and defilements regarding the Self and Selfishness and the delusions of permanence and the other delusional filters of the consciousness...we no longer practise using this consciousness...we now use ourselves... the Mind...
