We can help others simply by smiling, saying thank you or good morning.

I think sometimes people think they need to "move mountains" in order to help others, when in fact... many people would appreciate help with the samllest things.

I have a neighbor who mows the lawn of an elderly woman down the street. I have another neighbor who is a police office. Both can greatly impact someone's life!

What can I do? Take a meal to someone who is ill, make that phone call and talk to someone who needs a person to talk to, donate blood/plasma, or volunteer at a hospital. I can do many things!

What can someone do to help me? Have patience as I discover who I am along the way.

Instead of spreading hateful religion, pointlessly bickering about it, or killing people, Shouldn't people instead work towards a common goal, something everybody wants to stop, like, famine, or something. And prayer isn't an excuse, get out and do something for the greater good, and if people truly cared, they'd help too; If somebody got lost in Nova Scotia the entire town would be out on the search, because they want to help. This is probably naive, but what kind of world do we truly live in where such pure intentions are considered naive?

(Yeah not like me, sue me)

Open a door for someone, smile and say hello to a stranger passing on the street, be the one to pull over and help the person with the flat tire, be courteous to everyone you talk to today...

Everyone can send me $20. That would help me. Since money is the root of all evil I would be helping take evil away from them. It's win win.

Smile. Be kind. Communicate clearly.

Maybe if we all follow the Four Agreements:

Be impeccable with your word
Don't take things personally
Don't assume
Do your best

I took someone to the hospital today, they could have walked. Somehow I think this was more help than entire life of false doctrine crammed down their throat.
