The Bible states that it is the kindness of the Lord that brings us to repentance.
A truly thankful heart will give oppurtunity for God to reveal himself to you.
Here are a few things you can try.
1)Hold your breath as long as you can. Then take a big breath of air - You will be thankful for the air you breathe.
2) Close your eyes and take 100 steps. You will be thankful for your sight.
3) Go without eating for 24 hours. You will be thankful for food.

We should be Fully Grateful to God for all the provisions we are enjoying on earth and for the Provisions we are going to enjoy in Eternity .

I try to be but sometimes i get a little caught up in the world around me and forget to be thankful. So to get me back on track i look for God's presence all around us and appreciate it and take it all in. It's a wonderful feelings seeing all that God created for us.

There isn't a day goes by, but what I am not thankful. When I was young my prayers were all about me, now they're all about Him and I don't even mention myself anymore except to ask for continual growth as a Christian.

I am thankful.
Thank God for Jesus Christ.
I could never understand Him if it weren't for the cross.
Imagine. That God would become a man and die for me.
I think I am going to be OK - eternally.

Good exercise...I thank Him every morning..for waking me up, clothed in my right mind, for my salvation, my marriage, my children, my job...
you know what? People say that they cant pray for more than about 2 minutes...but if you just sat there and thanked God for everything He's done for you...you could pray for hours..days...prayerfully for eternity.
