I been hooked on Christ for 50 years, what a addiction to have. He is alive for ever more, he walks with me,he talks with me, along life narrow way, how wondrous his is,a friend so true Christ never lets me down, Praise the Lord. Bless You. I'm so happy for you, because you have been down, and you saw the light, may God Bless you .

Yes and yes...and I'm with you brother. Sounds like we've both been blessed to have experienced so many other highs and then to find the one that's better than all the others combined. ...and I think it is just about time for me to take a "maintenance hit" and go to sleep. Thank you for the suggestion and the openness.

As someone who falls prey to easy "fixes" you are not exactly the poster child for a rational person accepting "God's love". Rather, a person who needs something to make life seem "good" for small periods of time. This is nothing different. Face reality, be strong man.

Totally addicted. It was so wonderful the other day after church my husband attended a men's fellowship. When he got home all that he could do was talk about the lord and the meeting. His words not mine "I want to feel this way all the time." Not bad for a ex bar-back, bouncer from New Orleans....

I am hooked...
hook , line and savior.
I also am a healed drug addict, and you are right, there was or will ever be a drug that could compare to the sheer joy and peace of sitting in the presence of Jesus.

Not addicted, convicted. Through prayer God has helped me discover my holy discontent, and he gives me the strength and the courage to battle it in my own community.
