PRO 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
ECC 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Who wrote the scriptures? Men. Men believing another man.
The ONLY question from the ones above that NEEDS to be answered is, "What are we to overcome?"
The answer is "The temptation of evil."
No "ifs". No "ands". No "buts".
People that make bad choices, gave in to that temptation. And it is those people that cause the ever escalating turmoil in our everyday lives.
