why don't they give their employees Sunday off, andwhy do they insist on treating their employees like slaves? Wal-mart comes to mind. No Christian holidays off, and even pushing to force people to work on the one day off they get, Christmas!

Why is the bible referred to as the Word Of God? Is there anywhere in the bible that has evidence that God actually took pen in hand and wrote his thoughts and actions down? Is there evidence that actually dictated this stuff to someone with actual intent for it to be recorded?

Or is it just man's feeble attempt to explain things he ultimately has no clue and no control over?

Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the only one that saves. If you believe the water baptism saved you, then you might what to examine yourself to see weather you are in the faith. Start reading the Bible and do not just take peoples word for it.

I have noticed that alot of people have this magnatism. They seem so condifent and so full of life. They are funny and strong people. But when you tell them that they offended you, or ask them to stop making belitting jokes, or whatever. They become agressive, or start deflecting, and are all 'What is YOUR problem'. They say mean things to make it your fault. At that point I realize that they are insecure. How can insecure people seem like the most confident ones out there? Is their over confidence like agression.... trying to be intimidating so people won't cross them?

If you found some evidence that suggested that Catholicism was correct after all, would you research further, or would you ignore it?

Here's two examples in my own experience: When I found out that the Catholic Faith made more sense than expected, I went out and researched it and eventually converted.

On the other hand, my uncle, when confronted with certain truths initially agreed that Catholicism may have some good points, but by the next week swore up and down that he had never agreed to anything.

Many have used Roman 10:9, 10 to explain "The Sinner's Prayer" but these verses don't speak of anything of the kind, especially when there are ten examples in the book of Acts that show that those who became Christians did something totally different.

The answer is NO! Our salvation is not a license to
sin. "They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord." (Jude 1:4)

"If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has
insulted the Spirit of grace?" (Hebrews 10:26-29)

Asia is world largest continent its got second highest number of contries and lots of peopel from asian countries live in europ but when you hear the word "asian" you immediately think of a chinese or a japnese person. why is that?
Recently it was my son`s friends birthday and he ws invited. my son told me he is an asian and he needs to buy a present for him. I just went on my own to buy a present. i thought he is an asian he might like an action figuare, so i bought an 4 feet tall transforming action figuare which says some sentences in japnese and it had some japnese writting on it. when me and my son went to the birthday party and when i looked at the people around me and especialy at the kid whos birthday it was, he was asian but not chinese, he turned out to be a pakistani. I thought to my self "why are chinese people refferd to Asians?

I have read about the first 200 pages or so of the Bible. I can't read anymore. It's so boring. It's basically like a list. God did this. God did this. God did this. God did this. God did this. Theres hardly any story at all. It's just a gigantic list of things God did. Writing techniques and descriptive language has obviously come a long way since the Bible was written.

The Test of Knowing Him
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.
He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going,
