I found this study and I would like to know if it is really true: http://tinyurl.com/287pjp
Can you find error in it?

I'm leaning toward it really being true, but if it really is, then why has Christianity been wrong all along?

Christmas/Easter. As they don't celebrate any of these things because they say that it has pagan origins, (gee, the founder of Ford, Henry Ford, was a Nazi sympathiser and anti semitic-yet they have no problems I'm sure buying a Ford).

But I digress.

Do they, maybe deep down inside, resent not having their birthdays celebrated, or unable to celebrate their wedding anniversary-more so than Christmas or Easter as these celebrations are personal.

I've often wondered this, so if you know any JW's or are one, please be honest and tell me have you ever missed these celebrations, particularly as a child?

It'd be easy too, cause all we have to do is target the synagouges, temples and churchs and blow them all up in one sweep. Locust, SSejychan, and others, are ya WITH ME!?! LOL!

actually ..in which way he will harm us...
and how is possible ..that while he will harm a part of us...the others will glorifiy him..and will be delighted with him...what will those who will be delighted with the antichrist - think about those who would feel hurt by antichrist?will there be a country or a group like Robin Hoood or so who won't obey the antichrist or just private persons?..because is hard to understand the bible

I do. I've just sat and read all the answers to one q for over half an hour. That's my problem, I don't find it easy as you all have so many good answers. If I extend them it gives me more time to think about it and be as fair as I can.
Any views on the subject? x

Give love to one another
Keep not the light withheld
Shine forth into the darkness
Together we can meld

Join Hands with one another
Until the circle is complete
Keep faith with one another
Till all the nations meet

Nation shall meet nation
None can be set aside
Love is the message given
And no-one is denied

For if this does not happen
And the people stay as now
There will be no tomorrow
No time, No place, No now.

I'm a lesbian myself, and I broke up with my girlfriend a few months ago. I met a new girl recently, but so far I think we're nothing to each other but "sex partners". We would get together every few days or so and spend the night together. We wouldn't talk to each other about things in life, all we do was kiss aggressively in bed for hours until our lips are swollen, and then we would fall in sleep. The next morning we go separate ways again. I think there must something wrong with this......

. . . on the road to Damascus? What really happened to him? He saw a light so bright it blinded him . . . he heard a voice . . . he was forever changed because of his 'revelation' of Jesus Christ. So what happened to him?

Could it be possible that he was abducted by or encountered aliens? Are you open to the idea? Why or why not?

This is a serious question. No jokers allowed. :)

Sorry about this guys... but I've notices that you have this mechanism:

...talking with someone who in a conversation may say "I'm Mormon" and then you guys start by asking like: "Oh really, what do you believe?" and keep "nicely" questioning... What bugs me is that then you you start with the bashing you, yourself start to talk about Joseph Smith, say weird things about the church that differs from what the church really is because you don't want to accept that we are Christians and the we are not a cult. So if you are so close minded about us and anyways you will still believe in your mistake about Mormonism, why do you ask things and start questioning as if in court? Right after someone say "I'm Mormon" state your point about us and madly preach how wrong and lost we are [according to you]. Ah... and then say that we are going to hell, anyways you always do!

I'm sorry for the stereotyping and for mentioning names but for previous experiences... I can tell !

This is open to everyone, of course. It's a general question, I'm not looking to pinpoint any groups or anything. Hypothetical.

Free speech is the allowance of a human to speak up for what they believe in, and have freedom of belief in whatever they want and be allowed to display such.

I think the line of free speech is drawn when someone stops speaking out and instead does something against another belief they do not agree with. There is a clear difference between speaking out against a tattoos, or making tattoos illegal. The difference is that in speaking you decide for yourself, and in doing you make the decision for others. What ever happened to "live and let live"?

How hard is it to simply avert your eyes from that which you do not like, and instead focus on yourself in your beliefs instead of forcing others into said belief? Is it really that hard to speak of your ideas, but not make someone else abide by them as well?

Comments? Ideas? Please try to be constructive.

Sorry about the repost, I just wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas for me. The situation is that there's this guy who lives in the apartment below me and he likes to smoke on his patio. Problem is when I have the windows open, smoke gets in my apartment. I do have an airconditioner but sometimes enjoy a breeze when it doesn't smell like smoke.

Me and my downstairs neighbor are both guys in our mid-twenties, and I don't want to offend him. I've never talked to him before, but he seems like a decent guy and I could imagine being friends with him, so long as he doesnt blow smoke in my face.

Me, I'm LDS (Mormon) and don't look to faviorably on smoking and just want to enjoy the little space I have without being assaulted by smoke.

I Believe
That just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to, doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have.

I Believe
That you can keep going, long after you think you can’t.

I Believe
That hero is the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I Believe
That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

I Believe
That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re down, will be the ones to help you get back up.

I Believe
That sometimes when I’m angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn’t give me the right to be cruel.

I Believe
That it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I Believe
That just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do.
